Tour de um dia inteiro por Galle e arredores

The driver Gamini is nice and responsible. He drove safely which we really appreciated. He was punctual and ready for us at 7am. Parewi Duwa Temple is stunning even though it’s still under renovation. We went to Polhena beach and Mirrisa beach. The itinerary said snorkeling tour and masks are included but we actually had to pay ourselves. (Snorkeling is an extra cost) I swam with sea turtles and managed to touch them. There are corals as well. Beaches are beautiful but we are not sunshine people so we didn’t stay long there. It was hot in the afternoon so we just saw a few stilt fishermen. We had experience sitting on the stick and tried fishing (at our own expense). The final stop is sea turtle hatchery. The knowledgeable guy explained different types of turtles to us. The short tour is very informative. We actually went back to our hotel at around 3pm. The trip doesn’t include Galle tour.

This trip's management by the tour operator was very poor. He didn't contact me before the tour was supposed to start. On the day of the tour, I had to contact him at the scheduled appointment time (07:00). He then told me the tour would start at 08:00. I wondered why, as the schedule stated 07:00. At 08:00, no driver or guide appeared, and I was informed that the car had been in an accident and they needed to make new arrangements. The driver/guide finally arrived at 08:30. He was very young, only 21 years old, a college student with limited knowledge of the tour details. He mentioned that the tour operator had only informed him to service this tour at 08:10. Regarding the driver/guide, I was fine with him; he was very nice and took care of me like a friend. However, the tour operator definitely needs to improve their management.

While very pleasant, driver was 30 minutes late. Ultimately, there is no tour guide and the items on the itinerary do not fill anywhere near 12 hours. by 10:20 am we had completed almost all items. I was then asked to pay extra for activities said to be included. The driver was kind enough to suggest a river cruise which I had to pay extra for, as we had finished all activities so early. Communication with the operator was abysmal and she was very rude on the phone. There was no tour guide at all and I cannot recommend this to anyone. Customer support from Klook has been abysmal despite providing proof of this to them.

This was such a rip off! Not worth the money paid. First it was NOT a guided tour by a professional. The driver doubled up as the guide and could hardly speak English. So we hardly knew what we are looking at. Second, we paid for a whole day tour but the whole thing ended after lunch. Will not recommend this tour.

1. The driver was scheduled to pick me up at the hotel at 7 AM but arrived half an hour late. 2. The cost included snorkeling equipment, but the driver said this activity was not part of the itinerary. 3. Bottled water was included in the cost, but the driver didn't prepare any; he even bought his own after getting out of the car. 4. The itinerary stated that I could touch sea turtle eggs and experience feeding activities, but these activities were not offered. 5. The driver/guide drove to a scenic spot, told me to get out and take photos, and then waited in the car. 6. It was supposed to be a 12-hour tour, but my actual activities only lasted 3 hours. The driver said the day's activities were complete and ended the tour early to pick up his child from school. This tour was extremely disappointing and did not match the description. Perhaps there was a lack of communication with the local operators. I can understand potential delays with the car, but it was early in the morning with no traffic, and the driver was overly lazy. I participated in a solo tour and can accept an early finish, but the difference from the scheduled time was significant. Furthermore, the guide told me to get out and take photos while he waited in the car, failing to fulfill his duties as a guide. This is not my first time booking with Klook, but it is the first time I've been so disappointed. Solo tours are particularly expensive, but this one did not offer the value expected for a solo trip.
