Kuranda Deluxe com Skyrail saindo de Cairns

To be brief, this tour was more fascinating than I expected. In the Rainforestation, the kangaroos were cute and lazy. It was a pity that I didn't find a wombat there, so I paid 21 AUD for a ticket to the Koala Gardens to see one. The driver-guide did his job very well; he vividly illustrated the different features of the plants in the forest. I would have found the trip less interesting without a travel guide. I should have left more time for the Skyrail; however, I spent too much time wandering around Kuranda Village. Even though the Skyrail app had some kind of positioning trouble, taking the Skyrail still gave me a great view of the forest and a memorable experience.

A great semi-independent day tour experience! Pick-up and drop-off included, which is very convenient! The cable car is divided into 3 sections, and you can get off at the two intermediate stations to explore. There's plenty of time. Lunch is a buffet, which is decent. In the afternoon, at Rainforestation Nature Park, you can pay an additional AUD 29 to hug a koala and take photos. Highly recommended!

It was fun interacting with various animals. You can experience an ancient atmosphere on the Army Duck and also learn about Aboriginal culture. I think the tour content was very fulfilling. It's a shame I mistakenly booked the bus-only option instead of the one that included the train. I'll go again!

The transitions were not very smooth, leading to some waiting time. The guide's explanations were very clear, and riding the Duck into the rainforest to hear the commentary was a unique experience!

The entire itinerary was very well planned, not too short, not too long in terms of timing. Both drivers are very nice.

The zoo doesn't have many animals, but the main attractions are very clear: the crocodile enclosure has giant crocodiles, and the kangaroo enclosure has a group of kangaroos.

Only the Byron Falls and the Aboriginal performance were good; the cable car and amphibious vehicle were disappointing. We took a comfortable tour bus on the way there, but a small public bus on the way back.

The lunch buffet is quite disappointing, and the itinerary could be planned better. I suggest spending more time on the Skyrail, as the spots between the stations are worth much more than the Rainforestation, Army Duck, and Kuranda Village. The Dreamtime Walk part is quite interactive, though.
