There's a website with more info of the actual itinerary and what to prepare after booking which was useful. Car is clean and guide is friendly. Booked 4D3N so not too rush. We were able to see the sunrise at Bromo & Ijen. Ijen was not too easy to climb, certain areas are steep. Also if you want to see both blue flames and sunrise you got hike fast. We didn't had time for blue flames but managed to get a good timelapse of sunrise. Local guide at Tumpak Sewu Waterfall directs you to all the photo spots and good at taking photos. He even managed to stitch up a short video with and background music for us in such a short time.

The itinerary was super packed, but we visited all the most famous attractions in Java, which was very worthwhile. However, the schedule was truly exhausting; we departed at 1 or 2 AM every day. Our private driver, Dosi, was excellent and took care of everything. Even when I had to see a doctor due to Bali belly during the trip, he helped find a hospital and translated for me. I am very grateful to him. Additionally, the tour company opened a WhatsApp group before departure, providing detailed information about the driver and the route, which was very good. Regarding accommodation, due to the mountainous area, some facilities were lacking. For example, the hotel on the first night had no hot water for showering, and the hotel on the second night had no air conditioning. However, these were minor issues. Overall, it was excellent! Highly recommended!!

Tour Guide: Our tour guide, Hans, was incredibly friendly and lively. Not only did he share interesting local stories and tidbits along the way, but he also recommended delicious snacks and enthusiastically helped everyone take many beautiful photos. Depending on the itinerary, he thoughtfully prepared suitable supplies, such as providing mats for us to sit comfortably while waiting to watch the sunrise, and even having oxygen tanks on hand just in case. The driver was equally considerate, meticulously attending to everyone's needs, even proactively adjusting the air conditioning when he heard someone sneeze, making the journey even more comfortable. Itinerary: The itinerary was very thoughtfully planned. We were reminded to change into appropriate clothing, and the driver would stop whenever needed to help us find nearby restrooms, making the entire trip stress-free. As for the scenery, whether it was the magnificent Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, the breathtaking sunrise at Mount Bromo, or the mysterious and dreamlike blue flames of Ijen Volcano, everything was absolutely astonishing! Only by being there in person can one truly experience the grandeur and awe of nature!

This tour exceeded all expectations—an absolute bucket list experience! From Mt. Bromo’s majestic sunrise to the mesmerizing blue fire of Ijen, every moment was unforgettable. Mt. Bromo Sunrise—We woke early and were guided to the perfect vantage point on Penanjakan Hill. As the first light pierced through the darkness, the volcanic landscape slowly came to life. Wisps of mist drifted around the crater, and the sky morphed into a stunning canvas of pinks, oranges, and purples. The silhouette of Mt. Bromo against the glowing sky was like watching nature perform its own symphony. Truly unforgettable. The Ijen Crater blue fire hike was an otherworldly experience. Waking up at midnight to hike under the stars and witnessing the natural electric-blue flames dancing from the sulfur vents—it was surreal. Tiring, yes, but so worth it! Our guide was a gem—highly professional, deeply knowledgeable, and incredibly kind. He managed the schedule flawlessly, shared fascinating insights.

I had the opportunity to join a tour covering Mount Bromo, Mount Ijen and Tumpak Sewu Waterfall. It was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Our guide, Bella, was outstanding Throughout the journey, Bella demonstrated excellent professionalism, deep local knowledge and a genuine passion for her work. She was always attentive to our needs, ensuring that every detail from transportation to timing. Her thoughtful planning allowed us to witness the breathtaking sunrise at Mount Bromo to exploring the mesmerizing blue fire of Mount Ijen and admiring the stunning Tumpak Sewu Waterfall. Beyond her professionalism, Bella’s friendly personality and positive attitude made the entire trip even more enjoyable. She shared valuable insights about local culture, nature, and traditions, which added great depth to the overall experience. This was the first time my friend and I visited East Java and we chose the Klook tour organized by JVTO. It was a very enjoyable and fuss free holiday. Tour was well planned with some flexibility to cater to personal interests. Quality of accomodation was good for the price. Driver was safe and skillful. Guides were friendly and professional. Will definitely recommend to others especially if you are keen to explore the amazing volcanoes and waterfalls in the region.

scenery: East Java is blessed with nature's best offerings. The waterfalls, Volcanoes and Mountains were some of the best I have seen in my life. guide: Our guide Trista was the best guide one could ever ask for. Honestly, she is the biggest reason this trip was made memorable! She was extremely knowledgeable about Tumpak Sewu, Bromo, Ijen and pretty much any fact about Indonesia. She was extremely charismatic, energetic and caring. I learned so much from her. She was always punctual. She is quite literally the best tour guide we difficulty of the hike: The trek up Ijen was manageable though needs a bit of powering through. Tumpak Sewu and Bromo requires very little effort to climb up/down. itinerary: It is slightly packed but the beautiful sunrise makes it all worth it. Be prepared to start your trek at 1am.

Thanks to Java Volcano Tour, our trip to Ijen Crater, Papuma Beach, Tumpak Sewu Waterfall and Mount Bromo was amazing! A big part of it was thanks to our driver and guide, Pras. He took really good care of us the whole way, always friendly, funny, and speaking great English. What impressed us the most was his immediate help when I lost my backpack—he acted quickly and efficiently, ensuring that it was safely found and returned. On top of that, he’s also a talented photographer, capturing beautiful moments throughout our adventure so we could fully enjoy the experience without worrying about missing memories. With his help, we could just relax and enjoy the beautiful views—the blue lake at Ijen Crater, the sunset at Papuma Beach, the powerful Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, and the magical sunrise at Mount Bromo. It was truly unforgettable.

We had an absolutely amazing 4 day adventure, and were well taken care of from the moment we were picked up! Our driver/guide Fredi was super friendly, and helped us tremendously when our itinerary was badly affected by a landslide obstructing our way to Tumpak Sewu waterfall. He not only worked tirelessly to monitor the situation, but also suggested and facilitated rerouting us to Madakaripuka waterfalls nearby so we wouldn't just waste the day away. Also showed us a great "secret" spot for bromo sunrise too! Our guide Taufik for Ijen was also great, really knowledgeable and paced us well to catch both the blue flames and sunrise. Chill dude to talk to too, had some great conversations along the way. Totally unforgettable experience, already missing Java even though it was lowkey tiring waking up at the asscrack of dawn every day :")
