Avaliações
First and foremost, I highly recommend this tour. Initially, during pickup, the guide couldn't find us due to an imprecise accommodation address. Even though he searched for us for nearly an hour under the scorching sun, he wasn't angry at all. Instead, he quickly arranged the subsequent itinerary and had a driver pick us up, for which I am truly grateful. The pickup vehicle was an air-conditioned 11-seater van, very comfortable. The elephant sanctuary isn't very large, but it has reasonably clean restrooms. It's worth mentioning that you can feel the genuine love the conservationists and guide have for the elephants. There are no commercialized performances or rides, only interactive activities like feeding, showering, and making rice balls with the elephants. There's also ample time to interact and take photos with the elephants. The guide is also very knowledgeable about elephant ecology, explaining various questions in detail and guiding us in interacting with the elephants. For lunch, there were delicious Northern Thai curry noodles, fried rice, fruits, etc. The fried rice was truly excellent! The zipline part was also a lot of fun. The instructors were professional and humorous, ensuring everyone's safety and even taking photos and videos during the activity. There are about ten different sections to play, with varying distances, heights, and types of ziplines, so it never gets boring – it's really enjoyable! Finally, I want to thank the guide; he was truly dedicated and genuinely loves elephants, and he was very friendly to tourists. In short, I highly recommend this tour!
This is an ethical elephant camp. Due to the weather, we weren’t able to proceed with the rafting activity but instead made natural probiotics for the elephants. We had fun feeding sugar cane to the rescued Asian elephants!!
Our elephant sanctuary experience was superb! It was such a nice and relaxing day — feeding, caring for, and walking with the elephants made us feel like we were in a different dimension. The best part was our tour guide, Sir Taiga. He was very approachable, entertaining, and excellent at his job — there was never a dull moment with him! Our driver was also amazing — very accommodating, friendly, and made sure we were safe throughout the trip. Overall, both of them were fantastic, and we truly had an unforgettable experience.
We had a great adventure, especially with the elephants and bamboo rafting. The only exception was the zipline, which I really wanted to do. However, we had a great vehicle that picked us up. We were a group of four, three family members and myself as a solo traveler, but we had good interaction together. The driver was great and played awesome music, so it wasn't a boring trip! We had lunch and water.
I rated the tour 5 because Tono, the tour guide, and the driver were very capable. They are warm and knowledgeable. They were also entertaining and on time. Highly recommended.
Un día realmente encantador, nos acercamos mucho a los elefantes y parecían muy felices y bien cuidados. El rafting en bambú también fue increíble, ¡pero te advertimos que te mojarás! Me encantó el día.
Our tour guide, John, is attentive and knows a lot about the elephants in this area. The minibus ride is air conditioned and very comfortable. The elephants seem well taken care of and very friendly. The river rafting is the highlight - such as relaxing 45 minute ride along the tranquil river. highly recommend!
Highly recommended, and I will share it with friends. It's a relaxed and pleasant experience, and you won't get dirty. 1) A simple half-day tour, no need to wake up too early. 2) Pick-up by minivan, so the ride won't be too bumpy (other platforms use songthaews for pick-up, which are stuffy without air conditioning). 3) The park genuinely cares for the elephants and is friendly towards them; there's no hitting or abuse. | Cons | No costumes, no vitamin ball making, no elephant bathing. | Pick-up | They pick up from hotels one by one, no need to gather at a specific location. | Itinerary | First, a 10-minute break at a gas station -> Arrive at the camp, feed five elephants -> Walk with elephants in the jungle -> Watch elephants bathe -> Bamboo rafting -> Simple lunch (fried rice/fried noodles/fruit/iced water) -> Return trip. | Guide | Fluent in English, speaks simple Chinese. Friendly and answers all questions. | Suggestions | 1) Wear shoes that you don't mind getting dirty. 2) Bring an extra set of clothes to change into: You will definitely get wet during bamboo rafting (the guide will provide plastic bags). 3) Mosquito repellent: There might be mosquitoes during the jungle walk. 4) Waterproof phone case: So you can take photos freely during bamboo rafting.
