This hotel has a unique and memorable concept. Upon arrival, staff immediately helped clean our luggage wheels before we brought them in—a small touch that reflects a high level of attention to cleanliness. All hotel floors are tatami, so guests must leave their shoes in lockers and walk barefoot—slippers are available at the reception if needed. The atmosphere truly feels like a traditional Japanese ryokan.
The room was compact and efficient, with a 140cm bed that felt a bit small for two people. The onsen was a definite plus—an open-air onsen was available, although the water temperature wasn't very hot. The most surprising aspect was the complimentary amenities: ice cream, free ramen every night at 9:30 PM, and hot and cold beverages available anytime. These are added values rarely found in other hotels.
