wonderful experience with our guide Lucy who is patient, warm and hospitable. she shared many interesting facts about the various sites and Hokkaido in general. we enjoyed the trip more so with her as our guide. the itinerary is good and rather packed but it’s fine as we get to see more places.

The weather was great on the day of the tour, and there weren't many tourists, so we could explore and take photos to our heart's content. The scenery was also incredibly beautiful. Our tour guide, Xiao Dong, recommended the local corn, which was very sweet. I didn't choose the all-you-can-eat cantaloupe option, but they also sold individual slices, so I felt that one or two pieces were enough to get a taste. If you want to try lavender and cantaloupe flavored ice cream, you don't have to choose just one; Tomita Farm offers a mixed flavor so you can try both at once. The entire itinerary was perfectly timed, allowing plenty of time to explore and take photos without feeling rushed. There was ample rest time in between, and both the bus and the areas around the attractions were very clean. Our guide, Xiao Dong, was also very enthusiastic, telling us about local snacks and products, and where to find the best value.

Op 25 augustus 2026 verzamelden we ons bij uitgang 31 van het station Datong Tong om deel te nemen aan de tour die om 11:10 uur vertrok. We ontmoetten de zeer elegante en goed opgeleide reisleidster Hanna en chauffeur meneer Kasai. De reisleidster gaf een professionele uitleg over de route en de service onderweg. Het voordeel van later vertrekken is dat je minder mensenmassa's en files op de terugweg tegenkomt, en je hoeft ook niet in de rij te staan voor het avondeten. Hoewel de reis een beetje lang was, was het de moeite waard voor het prachtige landschap. We bezochten de Blauwe Vijver, de Kruidentuin (winkelen - lavendelproducten), Shikisai no Oka, Tomita Farm, de Meloenboerderij en de verlichte Ningle Terrace Forest bij het Furano Prince Hotel (avondprogramma) --- terug om 21:00 uur.

Een goed ontworpen reisschema dat precies genoeg tijd biedt om van elke bestemming te genieten zonder dat het te gehaast aanvoelt. Onze geweldige gids James spreekt drie talen, waaronder Chinees en Engels. Hij is erg attent en behulpzaam. De lavendel is eind september al verdwenen, maar de andere bloemen staan nog steeds in bloei. 100% aanbevolen!

Geweldige reiservaring! Prachtige uitzichten gecombineerd met goed weer, en gids Jincheng (Eric) vulde onderweg veel historische en lokale culinaire informatie aan. De service was ook uitstekend, met kleine herinneringen onderweg. De algehele ervaring was fantastisch! Ik zal zeker andere activiteiten proberen als de gelegenheid zich voordoet 👍🏻

small tour group with mini-bus. the ride was smooth, syllabus was great and Baku the tour guide was awesome. Baku gave us great tips during the trip (i.e. what to buy at service centre, where to grab lunch at Biei station…). we enjoyed it very much! thx the team for their effort!!!
