Dingen om te doen in Tree of Ken and Mary

This was my first time in Hokkaido, and I was traveling alone with limited mobility, so I was a bit anxious. However, I found a tour that met all my expectations and decided to join for the first time! I was initially worried because the guide and driver were foreigners, but they provided explanations and guidance meticulously in both Japanese and their native language, and they were very pleasant! At the zoo, we barely had enough time to look around and didn't have a chance to eat lunch. I thought an extra 30 minutes would have been nice. Also, I wondered if we would have seen the main animals better if we had entered through the main gate. Overall, though, it was enjoyable to see many animals unique to Hokkaido! The Seven Star Tree and the Patchwork Road were also very beautiful! Farm Tomita was crowded with tourists, and I couldn't try the melon souvenirs, so I wished I had more time there. Nevertheless, I'm grateful and had a great time visiting many places I wouldn't have been able to see on my own. Thank you very much!

De inhoud was rijk en levendig, en haar toewijding was duidelijk voelbaar, wat de hele reis erg plezierig maakte. De chauffeur had uitstekende rijvaardigheden en wist snelheid en veiligheid perfect te combineren, wat een geruststellend gevoel gaf. Jammer genoeg waren er groepsleden te laat, wat de planning enigszins vertraagde en ertoe leidde dat we uiteindelijk geen blauw ijsje konden kopen. De minibusrit van ongeveer 4 uur heen en terug was vrij lang, waardoor het langdurige zitten wat gevoelloosheid en ongemak in de onderrug en heupen veroorzaakte. Over het algemeen is deze tour nog steeds een goede keuze als je binnen aanzienlijke tijd snel de bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving van Furano en Biei wilt ervaren. Een echte aanrader voor wie voor het eerst naar Hokkaido komt en meerdere bezienswaardigheden in één keer wil bezoeken.

We namen deel aan een dagtour door Furano en de hele dag was de planning zeer soepel. Hoewel er veel bezienswaardigheden waren en het tempo vrij snel was, was er op elke locatie voldoende tijd om foto's te maken en te eten, dus de organisatie was prima. Voorafgaand aan de reis lazen we in recensies dat mensen honger hadden, maar onderweg was er op elke bezienswaardigheid iets te koop om te eten – de witte maïs uit Hokkaido is superzoet, het meloenbrood is zacht en geurig, en de kroketten zijn ook erg lekker, dus je hoeft je helemaal geen zorgen te maken over honger. Een speciale pluim voor onze gids Chillin! In de groep waren er buitenlanders, Japanners, Chinezen en Hongkongers, en zij kon met iedereen in hun eigen taal communiceren. Haar uitleg was duidelijk en vriendelijk, wat zorgde voor een geweldige sfeer in de groep. Het grootste geluk was dat alle groepsleden super op tijd waren, waardoor de tijd op elke locatie perfect werd beheerd en er geen vertragingen waren. De gids gaf ook tips over welke souvenirs de moeite waard waren om te kopen, welke goedkoop waren en welke een goede prijs-kwaliteitverhouding hadden, wat erg handig was voor mensen die moeite hebben met winkelen! Over het algemeen biedt deze tour veel waar voor je geld en is het een aanrader voor iedereen die op één dag meerdere klassieke bezienswaardigheden wil bezoeken.

The weather was great on the day of the tour, and there weren't many tourists, so we could explore and take photos to our heart's content. The scenery was also incredibly beautiful. Our tour guide, Xiao Dong, recommended the local corn, which was very sweet. I didn't choose the all-you-can-eat cantaloupe option, but they also sold individual slices, so I felt that one or two pieces were enough to get a taste. If you want to try lavender and cantaloupe flavored ice cream, you don't have to choose just one; Tomita Farm offers a mixed flavor so you can try both at once. The entire itinerary was perfectly timed, allowing plenty of time to explore and take photos without feeling rushed. There was ample rest time in between, and both the bus and the areas around the attractions were very clean. Our guide, Xiao Dong, was also very enthusiastic, telling us about local snacks and products, and where to find the best value.

wonderful experience with our guide Lucy who is patient, warm and hospitable. she shared many interesting facts about the various sites and Hokkaido in general. we enjoyed the trip more so with her as our guide. the itinerary is good and rather packed but it’s fine as we get to see more places.

Geweldige tour, we hebben veel plekken gezien. Er hadden slechts 4 mensen geboekt, dus we kregen een klein busje zoals een Alphard, het voelde als een privétour. De chauffeur was behulpzaam, communiceerde erg goed, was beleefd en lachte veel. We hebben alle geplande plekken bezocht en kregen er zelfs Tomita Farm en de kruidentuin gratis bij. De tijd die we bij elke stop doorbrachten was precies goed. Het weer was fantastisch. Alles verliep soepel en comfortabel, een echte aanrader!

We had a great trip and it was a special day in March since it was snowing, we just wanted to have viewed each location more as 20minutes allocation per area is a bit tight, considering the snowy and slippery roads that we have to walk to and we have a senior family member. Dara was very understanding of the passengers even though we’re late to return. And I hope that there is a charging port at the bus since almost all our tours has an outlet in the bus except for this one.

It was a very relaxed trip, especially since we visited many places with shorter停留 times. I'm very grateful to our Taiwanese tour guide, Xiao Hong, for his enthusiastic help. Afterward, he even shared beautiful scenic photos and discount coupons with everyone!

The tour guide and driver were both excellent. However, the quality of fellow travelers can be a hit or miss. Two Thai women kept talking loudly while the guide was explaining the day's itinerary, making it impossible to hear what the guide was saying. It really detracted from the experience. If you can't be considerate, you shouldn't travel! Unfortunately, there were no other seats available to move to. Sigh.
