Dingen om te doen in Featherdale Wildlife Park

Via Klook was het een zeer gemakkelijke, betrouwbare en handige manier om toegangskaartjes te kopen voor dit prachtige wildreservaat in Sydney, Australië. Het was mijn eerste keer dat ik de Klook-website gebruikte; het was fantastisch en gemakkelijk te navigeren, te betalen via PayPal en tickets te verkrijgen. Onze groep was zeer onder de indruk van de ervaring en raadt Featherdale ten zeerste aan als een attractie die je gezien moet hebben als je in Sydney bent. Je komt van dichtbij in contact met een reeks inheemse fauna zoals kangoeroes, quokka's, koala's en boerderijdieren. Geweldig voor jong en oud, een interactief avontuur waarbij je de handen uit de mouwen steekt, een perfect dagje uit! ❤️

We went on a tour of Featherdale Wildlife Park and the Blue Mountains for our honeymoon! We were with Guide Kim Tae-young, and he made the travel time enjoyable by sharing interesting stories about Australia and Sydney. He also provided excellent explanations at each location, so we had a comfortable trip without a dull moment. Most importantly, he took really great photos, haha. He didn't even have a separate camera; he used our phones, but he captured the angles perfectly and knew all the best spots, so the results turned out much better than we expected. Since it was our honeymoon, we wanted to take a lot of pictures together, and thanks to him, we got many photos we love! At Featherdale, it was great to see kangaroos and koalas up close, and the scenery at the Blue Mountains was truly magnificent in person. The good weather made it even more satisfying. Even though it was a day trip with a fair amount of travel time, Guide Kim Tae-young made it comfortable and fun. His explanations were great, but I think you'll be especially satisfied if you're looking for a guide who takes excellent photos. It was a memorable day on our honeymoon. Thank you!

This was a Korean tour group, and although my friends and I are not Korean, our tour guide Kelvin was very attentive to us, frequently checking in English to make sure we understood. The zoo had a wide variety of animals, and while the park itself was a bit old, it was clear that the staff cared deeply for the animals. For dinner, we ate in a small town, and Kelvin thoughtfully recommended several restaurants; the laksa at Number 8 Eatery was particularly delicious. The weather wasn't what we expected, as it was cloudy and rainy, so we couldn't see the sunset or the stars. However, Kelvin still tried his best to ensure we had a good experience, taking us to see the bridge and the opera house, and providing blankets and umbrellas to group members who needed them. We understand that the weather is truly unpredictable, and knowing that the guide did his best, it was still a good experience.

Great experience. Enjoyed Sydney zoo a lot. Blue mountains is also nice but how i wish i have more time so i can explore the place more. the time we have is not sufficient to enjoy the place. just enough to try all the three rides.

Ik ging in de winter en het weer was perfect; het was zonnig en fris tegelijk. Mark was zo'n goede gids. Hij hielp ons met foto's maken, vooral degenen die alleen reisden, zoals ik. Hij bracht ons naar mooie uitkijkpunten die niet eens deel uitmaakten van de route. Hij zorgde ervoor dat er goed voor ons werd gezorgd. Hulde aan hem. De inbegrepen lunch was goed en het was in een kleine en gezellige plek. De timing van de tour was perfect. Al met al zou ik het aanbevelen.

Jayden was a splendid guide! The tour was informative & Jayden was very helpful throughout the tour. The tour route is beautiful as well, the Blue Mountains’ vast scenery was really magnificent! Jayden also had good recommendations throughout the tour! The lunch spot was also much better than expected - the thai food is good! Overall we had a splendid time. :)

Mijn moeder, zussen en ik hebben een geweldige tijd gehad tijdens onze dagtour door de Blue Mountains! We vonden het geweldig dat we alle bezienswaardigheden konden zien ruim voordat de drukte arriveerde. Er was bijna niemand anders in de buurt, we konden in alle rust genieten van de majestueuze plekken. Sean was ook een fantastische gids! Zijn commentaar tijdens de tour was even informatief als hilarisch. We zullen deze tour zeker aanbevelen aan vrienden en familie die van plan zijn Sydney te bezoeken.

Traveled to Sydney with my family - party of 6 - two young children and two seniors. We didn’t want to rent a car so we decided to book this private tour. Joseph was our tour guide and he was fantastic. We were conveniently picked up and dropped off right at our hotel instead of having to travel to a separate meeting place which was good for grandma. He was knowledgeable and patient answering my kids’ questions. We went to the Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park where we got to feed kangaroos and touch and take a photo with a koala. We specifically wanted to go here versus other zoos because it featured Australian animals and is easily walkable. Joseph recommended the best places to sit and stand on the cable cars at Scenic World to get good photos and views. He showed us which trees were eucalyptus and tea tree and we were able to smell the oil by rubbing the leaves together. We enjoyed our tour and were very comfortable in the van. Had a wonderful time for our first full day in Sydney!

a bit more time for Lunch at Leura to explore the town and at Featherdale would be ideal.
