Dingen om te doen in Museum of Illusions - Taichung

Dank aan Else voor haar enthousiasme bij het maken van foto's en het begeleiden van onze rondleiding. Het is lang geleden dat ik zo'n gepassioneerde medewerker ben tegengekomen. Ze bezorgde ons een heerlijke middag en we hebben nu veel foto's en video's om thuis op terug te kijken. Tickets gekocht via Klook; bij aankomst hoef je alleen de QR-code te scannen en de balie regelt de toegang. Er zijn veel tentoonstellingen, waarvan de helft tweedimensionale werken zijn. Een kwart bestaat uit interactieve installaties en een kwart uit walk-through scènes. Dit is een zeer aanbevolen activiteit voor een zomermiddag, geschikt voor alle leeftijden!

absolutely amazing experience. Even though the English speaking guide was not available the Chinese speaking guide was absolutely amazing. We also added a few stops which were interested for other people and that was awesome. The boss was amazing and the group was so friendly. I enjoyed these experience so much and I would like to repeat it again and again .

Het was een fijne onderbreking van het vele reizen dat we hier in Taichung (Alishan/Sun Moon Lake) deden en ook van de hitte tijdens de zomermaanden. De prijs verschilt niet veel als je het direct koopt.

Freshwater Hot Spring Hotel offers a clean and comfortable environment with spacious hot spring pools that are very relaxing. The water quality is warm and soothing. After a soak, you can also enjoy the cityscape of Taichung, which provides a truly healing experience for both body and mind. The staff are friendly, and the overall experience is excellent, making it a great place for a relaxing getaway.

This hot stone spa is conveniently located in the B2 level of the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Department Store, right behind Taichung Station! The staff were very patient and helpful, and the environment was new and clean. Everything from the restrooms to the hair-drying area and the hot stone spa rooms themselves were spotless, though there was a bit of dust in some of the single-person lying areas, specifically in the corners near the walls.

Masseuse: Amazing!! Highly recommend Sister #238!!!! She looks slender, but her strength is incredible! Even after massaging her 5th or 6th client, her strength doesn't diminish. And she's very precise with her pressure points 👍✨️✨️ Her Mandarin is also excellent. She knows many idioms, and even Taiwanese dialect 🤣💕 Conversation flows very smoothly with her. If you like her service, please show your strong support with a tip! 🤩 ✅️ Giving the tip directly to Sister #238 is the best way! It will make her happy all day long~ 🥰 Environment: The massage parlor's environment is great. The licorice tea is also sweet and delicious 😋 💰 Single-session tickets purchased on-site can only be paid for with cash. ✔️ Alternatively, you can pay by card for discounted package deals. The price will be even more favorable.

Great value for money! There didn't seem to be many Koreans, but the therapist spoke English, so I enjoyed a comfortable massage. The facility only looks good on the first floor; the interior and beds are not as good as those in Southeast Asia. You can't choose your therapist or their gender. You need to make a reservation in advance and mention that you're using Klook. The reception staff wasn't fluent in English. We were lucky to meet a Korean who spoke Chinese, so we booked and used the service in Chinese. Don't forget to tip afterward!

A very interesting experience! You start with a tour, and you can use the available reference designs on-site, find images online, or let your imagination run wild. The owner is very welcoming and provides tea... and even desserts!!!!! I was super surprised! Taking a break halfway through really helps bring back inspiration! But I accidentally got too focused and stayed a bit too long... I feel a little bad for the owner.

I was worried about the guide's language when booking this tour, but there was no need to worry at all. As described, the guide only speaks English. However, special explanations aren't really necessary when visiting these places; it's best to think of this tour as a transportation service to the sightseeing spots. Since my party was the only one on the day I booked, we essentially got a private car charter service. That made it even better because when we finished seeing everything at a location, we were able to ask to leave earlier than scheduled and move on. There aren't many Taichung sightseeing tours that exclude Sun Moon Lake, but if you want to visit Sun Moon Lake separately, this is a very cost-effective tour with a great itinerary. Also, even though the guide only spoke English, they were friendly and made us feel comfortable. We had a wonderfully productive half-day sightseeing experience.
