Saker att göra i Museum of Illusions - Taichung

Thanks to Else for enthusiastically taking photos for us and guiding us through the tour. It's been a long time since I've met such a passionate staff member. They helped us have a wonderful afternoon, and now we have many photos and videos to look back on. We purchased tickets on Klook; upon arrival, simply show the QR code to be scanned at the counter, and they will arrange your entry time. There are quite a few exhibits; about half are two-dimensional works, a quarter are interactive installations, and a quarter are walk-through scenes. I highly recommend this activity for a summer afternoon; it's suitable for all ages.

absolutely amazing experience. Even though the English speaking guide was not available the Chinese speaking guide was absolutely amazing. We also added a few stops which were interested for other people and that was awesome. The boss was amazing and the group was so friendly. I enjoyed these experience so much and I would like to repeat it again and again .

It was a nice break from the back to back travel we did here in Taichung (alishan/sun moon lake) and also from the heat during summer months. Price doesn’t differ that much when you buy it directly.

This hot stone spa is conveniently located in the B2 level of the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Department Store, right behind Taichung Station! The staff were very patient and helpful, and the environment was new and clean. Everything from the restrooms to the hair-drying area and the hot stone spa rooms themselves were spotless, though there was a bit of dust in some of the single-person lying areas, specifically in the corners near the walls.

Great value for money! There didn't seem to be many Koreans, but the therapist spoke English, so I enjoyed a comfortable massage. The facility only looks good on the first floor; the interior and beds are not as good as those in Southeast Asia. You can't choose your therapist or their gender. You need to make a reservation in advance and mention that you're using Klook. The reception staff wasn't fluent in English. We were lucky to meet a Korean who spoke Chinese, so we booked and used the service in Chinese. Don't forget to tip afterward!

Masseuse: Amazing!! Highly recommend Sister #238!!!! She looks slender, but her strength is incredible! Even after massaging her 5th or 6th client, her strength doesn't diminish. And she's very precise with her pressure points 👍✨️✨️ Her Mandarin is also excellent. She knows many idioms, and even Taiwanese dialect 🤣💕 Conversation flows very smoothly with her. I was worried about the guide's language when booking this tour, but there was no need to worry at all. As described, the guide only speaks English. However, special explanations aren't really necessary when visiting these places; it's best to think of this tour as a transportation service to the sightseeing spots. Since my party was the only one on the day I booked, we essentially got a private car charter service. That made it even better because when we finished seeing everything at a location, we were able to ask to leave earlier than scheduled and move on. There aren't many Taichung sightseeing tours that exclude Sun Moon Lake, but if you want to visit Sun Moon Lake separately, this is a very cost-effective tour with a great itinerary. Also, even though the guide only spoke English, they were friendly and made us feel comfortable. We had a wonderfully productive half-day sightseeing experience.

En fantastisk rolig upplevelse! Först är det en rundtur, och man kan titta på de mönster som finns på plats, söka på nätet eller skapa helt fritt. Ägaren är jättegullig och bjuder på te... och till och med efterrätt!!!!! Blev så överraskad! Men att ta en paus mitt i arbetet gör verkligen att inspirationen kommer tillbaka! Man råkar dock bli för fokuserad och hålla på för länge... känner mig lite störd gentemot ägaren.
