Dit was onze eerste reis naar Taiwan met mijn ouders in de 70. We hebben gekozen voor route A. Na het ontbijt om ongeveer 9 uur 's ochtends voor de vlucht was dit onze eerste maaltijd in zo'n 9 uur, maar we zaten alledrie zo vol dat we zelfs wat soep moesten laten staan. Alles was heerlijk, van de xiao long bao tot de rest, maar we waren vooral onder de indruk van de gebakken groenten en de gebakken rijst♡ Dit is een restaurant waar we de volgende keer zeker weer willen eten.

Jù Japanese Hot Pot clearly positions itself as a Japanese shabu-shabu chain specializing in individual hot pots. We visited on a Saturday afternoon for lunch, and it wasn't as crowded as we expected. The waiting area was almost empty, and the tables were well-spaced, making for a comfortable dining experience. The layout was intuitive; after being seated, the staff quickly guided us through the process. The self-service bar was conveniently located on one side, allowing us to get vegetables, sauces, and desserts all in one area before returning to our seats. During the afternoon, everyone seemed to be moving at a slower pace, so there was no crowding at the bar. The quality of the self-service bar truly held up. The fried tofu skin was very tender after cooking, the vegetables were fresh and clean, and the black soybean milk tea was smooth, not overly sweet, and refreshingly cold. For the tea bags, I chose Genmaicha, which looked promising with visible roasted rice grains, but the hot tea turned out to be a bit astringent. In the dessert area, you could dispense your own soft-serve ice cream and add toppings, creating an impressive, layered treat. For our main courses, we chose the Sukiyaki broth and the Original broth. The Sukiyaki flavor was delicious, with a perfectly balanced sweet and savory profile, though an egg had to be ordered separately for an additional 20 NTD. The beef quality was good; the tender-fried beef was firm and thick, while the marbled beef had an even fat distribution and was ready to eat after just a few seconds in the pot. What took a bit more time to understand were the dining rules. The cost of ordering a single plate of meat à la carte cannot be used to offset the minimum charge, so each person must order one main course and one hot pot. It feels like a very precise design. If you don't eat much, you'll start to feel quite full towards the end. It's hard to pinpoint anything specifically wrong, but it's definitely not a place where you can just order a few small things and be done.

My overall shopping experience at Wanjiafu was excellent. The store environment was clean and bright, and the product selection was very diverse. I was able to find everything from food and daily necessities to household items all in one place. Using the instant voucher this time was very convenient, and the discount was significant. The checkout process was quick, and overall, I felt it was a great value. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the shopping experience very pleasant. I'll definitely come back if I need anything in the future, and I recommend everyone use the instant vouchers too!

Soms, als je haast hebt en geen tijd hebt om te eten, kun je hier ook kant-en-klare warme maaltijden vinden, echt een geweldige plek om dagelijkse problemen op te lossen. Ik ontdekte ook enkele exclusieve producten die alleen bij 7-11 verkrijgbaar zijn, vooral hun eigen snacks en drankjes, die lekker en betaalbaar zijn. En bij elke feestdag lanceren ze superveel limited edition producten, waardoor de hele winkel een feestelijke sfeer krijgt. Het beste is dat 7-11 altijd open is, 24 uur per dag. Wanneer je ze ook nodig hebt, ze staan voor je klaar. Dit is echt een klein gelukje in het leven.

We booked online in advance and arrived 15 minutes early, so we were seated immediately in a booth without having to wait. The service was excellent. The set meal for two was more than enough food, with unlimited refills of duck blood and tofu, as well as all-you-can-eat white rice. Buying the set via Klook also came with a complimentary plate of pork rolls. The set includes chilled chrysanthemum tea, and for other drinks, there are sugar-free tea and yogurt smoothies, both of which are refillable.

The vermicelli noodles were absolutely delicious. They had a gentle, bonito-broth flavor. There are chili sauce, garlic sauce, and black vinegar available in front of the shop, so I recommend trying them to change up the flavor halfway through your meal. I added two spoonfuls of garlic and one spoonful of chili, which made it even more delicious. When using the voucher, I just showed it when ordering, and they asked if I wanted a small or large size. The staff member then scanned the QR code, and I simply picked up my order right next to them, so it was very easy. I think anyone planning to go should definitely use the voucher.
