Een absolute aanrader! Ik heb zoveel plezier gehad op de boerderij, waar ik alpaca's ontmoette en ze voerde. Vriendelijk personeel. Zeer informatief.

Thoroughly enjoyable hop on hop off tram experience. A good way to get a quick tour with some history to the city and its main sites. The redemption of the tickets at the office was simple and smooth. Commentary by the driver was informative and entertaining. Defintiely recommend trying this for first timers to Christchurch!

This tour is highly recommended! Especially in autumn 🍂, the trees along the banks gradually turn red, and there are groups of cute ducklings and Canadian geese. The boatman provides commentary on the history and attractions along the way, which is very informative! It's an activity suitable for the whole family.

Het gebruik van de Klook Pass Nieuw-Zeeland was een van de beste beslissingen tijdens mijn reis. Het bleek een grote geldbesparing te zijn. Ik wilde verschillende activiteiten doen, maar maakte me zorgen over het weer. Gelukkig biedt de pas flexibele annuleringsmogelijkheden, wat de planning veel gemakkelijker maakte. Ik heb bijvoorbeeld mijn Glowworm Cave-tour twee dagen van tevoren geannuleerd en op een ander moment opnieuw geboekt toen het weer beter was. Het boekings- en annuleringsproces was erg snel en eenvoudig. Ik heb de pas gebruikt voor Shotover Jet in Queenstown, walvissen spotten in Kaikōura en de Glowworm Cave in Rotorua. Over het algemeen waren de besparingen aanzienlijk – het voelde eigenlijk alsof één activiteit gratis was. Het enige waar je rekening mee moet houden, is ervoor zorgen dat je alle activiteiten gebruikt voordat je Nieuw-Zeeland verlaat en het weer controleert, zodat je je boekingen indien nodig kunt aanpassen. Als je van plan bent om meerdere activiteiten te doen, is deze pas zeker de moeite waard en bespaart hij veel geld.

De boot biedt diverse drankjes aan, waaronder sinaasappelsap, koffie, bier en water, evenals lokale koekjes. De kapitein is zeer ervaren en heeft deelgenomen aan de recente reddingsoperaties bij het kapseizen van een andere boot. De route langs de kust is prachtig en de bemanning is erg aardig en helpt bij het zoeken naar dolfijnen, pinguïns en zeeleeuwen. De volgende keer kiezen we zeker weer voor deze boottocht!

The whale watching activity was canceled due to bad weather, but the tour guide seemed inexperienced and unable to arrange and execute a backup plan in a timely manner. When we stopped along the way, they also didn't announce the meeting time. Luckily, the group members were quite good and didn't cause any delays. The guide did provide some brief commentary along the way, and there was someone in our group who didn't understand Chinese, but the guide hardly used English to accommodate them.

Vanaf het moment dat ik werd opgehaald bij mijn hotel tot aan de reis was het niets dan geweldig. De chauffeur was zeer deskundig en erg enthousiast tijdens de reis. Al onze reisroutes en toeristische plekken werden afgevinkt. Ik raad ten zeerste aan om deze Tranzalpine-tour van Christchurch naar Arthur's Pass te doen. Het was mijn eerste keer in Christchurch en ik werd verliefd op de plek. Castle Hill, Otira Viaduct en Devil's Punchbowl Waterfall zijn een must-see + we kregen een Kea-vogel te zien. Ik kom zeker terug de volgende keer.
