I recently visited the spa with my mum, and I cannot recommend it enough! The staff were incredibly courteous kind, patient, and attentive, especially when it came to ensuring my mum’s comfort. We had booked treatments in advance, but when we arrived, my mum was unable to climb the stairs to the treatment room. Instead of cancelling our appointment, the staff were so patient in dealing with the situation and provided us with alternative options and kindly rearranged a treatment for her on the ground floor, ensuring she could still enjoy the experience. It was such a thoughtful and reassuring gesture that made all the difference to our visit. The treatment itself was wonderful, relaxing, professional, and thoroughly enjoyable. If you’re looking for a spa with exceptional service and a genuinely compassionate team, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!

The tour was really amazing, all the guides very nice. Would like to thank our driver Fauzi who took really good care of us and brought us around safely. Just expect to not get much sleep but that’s doesn’t matter as you’ll still have a good time. Accomodation very good for few hours of sleep.

We had a wonderful experience joining the 4D3N Ijen Crater, Tumpak Sewu Waterfall & Mount Bromo tour from Surabaya. The trip was well organized, smooth, and truly memorable. A special thanks to our tour guide Fauzi and driver Fredy for their excellent service throughout the journey. Fauzi was very attentive to our needs, ensured we were comfortable and safe at all times, and always went the extra mile to help us. Our driver was also professional, punctual, and made every long journey comfortable and safe. We especially appreciated the effort our guide put into taking beautiful photos and videos for us at every destination. Thanks to him, we captured many unforgettable memories with the amazing views of Ijen, Tumpak Sewu, and Mount Bromo. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore the beauty of East Java with a professional and caring team!

Our trip to Mount Bromo and Tumpak Sewu was incredible. We were blessed with a clear, full view of Bromo at sunrise. Just a heads-up: the hikes are much steeper than expected! The trek down to Tumpak Sewu involves very narrow, high stairs, but the waterfall is worth every bit of effort. Our guide and driver, Sunny, was amazing—patient, friendly, and kept us comfortable the entire time. Regarding accommodation, we were moved from Artha Cottage to Harmoni Guest House. It was a nice substitution, especially with the stunning view of the Semeru volcano. Highly recommended for anyone up for a bit of a climb!

Thank you Ruly, Putro, and our Ijen guide Eddie for taking such good care of me! This 2D1N trip is highly recommended and perfect for anyone who wants to visit both volcanoes in the minimum amount of time. We had 7 people in our group, so the car wasn't too crowded and the ride was comfortable. Day 1 (Bromo): We didn't have an official guide on this day. The jeep driver simply dropped us off without sharing any details like where to go, what to do, or what time to head back to the jeep. Fortunately, Ruly kept in touch with me via messaging and successfully guided me to the viewpoint, so I didn't experience any trouble. We stayed at the DreamLand Hotel, which was clean, decent, and exactly as pictured. Day 2 (Ijen): The hike is exhausting for those who don't exercise or hike regularly. It's very steep at the beginning up to the volcano rim, and equally steep going down to the crater to see the blue flame. The path is narrow and crowded, so you must be extremely careful. Our guide, Eddie, was fantastic—he showed us an easier path to see the blue flame and personally helped me through the difficult, rocky sections. After the tour, they dropped me off at the port, and Putro kindly helped us with the ferry tickets. there are some extra on-site costs: health certificate IDR100K, drop off to Ketapang Harbor IDR650K, single room surcharge IDR375K (highly recommended for solo female travellers as they don't necessarily arrange same gender roommates for shared options), gear rental e.g walking stick IDR50K each

Å bestille en tur til Mount Bromo er definitivt verdt det. Guiden vår, Rizky, var fantastisk og er en genuint omtenksom og tålmodig person. Med sine mange års erfaring sørget han for at vi fikk den beste utsiktsposten for soloppgangen. Han gjorde til og med det lille ekstra ved å ta med en yogamatte vi kunne sitte på og et teppe, noe som ble satt stor pris på siden det var overraskende kaldt. Jeg vil anbefale denne turen 11/10. Skål!

Guiden var fantastisk, takk til Hans for all hjelp underveis, vi fullførte turen trygt. Vi hadde det alle veldig gøy, og restauranten vi spiste lunsj på var også ganske bra, med fin utsikt og god mat. En dagstur er fortsatt ganske slitsom, og for de som ikke trener så mye, kan det være litt vanskelig å fullføre, men siden vi først var der, måtte vi bare holde ut og gå hele veien. Vulkanfossen i Surabaya er nok ikke lett å komme til 😂 En uforglemmelig opplevelse.

The driver will pick you up at your hotel in a five-seater sedan. In mid-April, the temperature at Ijen Volcano in the early morning is around 15 degrees Celsius (59 degrees Fahrenheit). You can wear a short-sleeved shirt and a light, warm jacket. The mountain road is steep, and you'll likely sweat a lot during the climb. You can take breaks in stages, depending on your stamina. From the entrance at 1,800 meters (5,905 feet) above sea level, you'll ascend to the summit at 2,300 meters (7,546 feet). There may be an occasional pungent sulfur smell; you can choose whether to rent a gas mask before departing. The sunrise and sea of clouds are incredibly beautiful. However, since the sulfur minerals are owned by an energy company, and workers are employed to mine and extinguish fires, you won't be able to see large areas of blue flame. Nevertheless, the burning sulfur is an unprecedented and stunning sight. We recommend arranging this trip separately from Mount Bromo, allowing for rest before continuing. A two-day/one-night or three-day/two-night trip involves a significant physical load.
