Taipei Children's Amusement Park-turer

Had a great day with my guide Joanna! it was the first day Typhoon Champi hit so Yehliu Geopark was closed, but she took me to Heping Island GeoPark in Keelung instead. this led to a stop at Zhengbin Port Color Houses which i didn't think I'd get a chance to see on this vacation so I'm grateful she took me here. she also got me pastries from a famous bakery nearby. the waterfall is beautiful of course but there are a lot of stairs and it was raining pretty hard so wear good shoes. and the 2 things I was most excited about was releasing lanterns at Shifen and the red lanterns of the alleys and tea house of Jiufen. we got there early so Joanna was worried they wouldn't light up the lanterns, but they did and before 5pm! (maybe because it was getting dark earlier due to the typhoon). she got me her favorite mochi to try at one of the stalls and even helped me haggle with a shop keeper to get a better deal. happy experience with a great guide!

You definitely have to book a tour with Guide Yoon! Without a second thought, you must do the Youngshim Tour!! At first, because someone was late to the meeting point, I wondered if the guide might be a bit sharp, but no, not at all ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ She was just very straightforward and loud. Every time she spoke, we burst out laughing; she was so entertaining and clearly pointed out places we didn't really need to visit and things we didn't need to buy. Since we did the tour right on our first day, we got so many great tips that we used well throughout our trip haha. She is truly, genuinely passionate about good food, so she gave us a ton of restaurant recommendations, and the fruit at Shifen Waterfall—which she called a fruit hotspot—was genuinely delicious ㅋㅋㅋ I'm kicking myself for only buying one pack of mangoes... 😂 Everywhere we went, she gave passionate explanations and shared useful tips, so we had a really comfortable and great tour. We ran into Guide Youngshim waiting for a tour in our hotel lobby on our last day, and we were so glad to see her!!! Even in that brief moment, she yelled out, "Don't go here or there today~~!!" ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Anyway, she was the absolute best! If I ever get to travel to Taipei again, I'd want to request Guide Youngshim specifically for a tour, even if it's a different one~~~ Thank you for a wonderful and fun tour!!!

The place were nice and astounding. The car was ao comfortable and the ride was so smooth. The driver, Jackson, was nice too. Unfortunately, we came to the grassland that's full of fog. Therefore, we have another reason to come back to Taiwan, to take photo with clear and nice view of Grassland. It was a nice day tour. We all had fun!

this was my first ever tour and it was the best among all other 3 I had! Guide Zoe was so knowledgeable, kind and friendly. we had 2 vans, and we were lucky to have her sit with us despite other van being a newer one😄. yangmingshan grassland was such a highlight! some of us did manage to climb to the peak and be back within the time frame, so didn’t feel like we missed out much. afterwards, the ecological pond walk was a very nice walk too! lunch was a good time to get to know people, and walk around the neighbourhood was cute. after that, public hot spring, flower clock, museum were less interesting to us but Zoe engaged us well. the walk around sulfur valley and Beitou hot spring was good. she gave us recommendations fr food and things to do. small group tours are always best. thank u Zoe!

It's great way to visit all famous museums if you are crunched with time. However our tour guide had a bit difficulty in explaining the area/ history in english but you can still understand him a bit & he's sweet! Hassle free transfer to different museums especially in this June heat!

Fantastisk tur! Reiselederen vår, Jenny, var så livlig og energisk. Dessuten besto gruppen vår av forskjellige nasjonaliteter, noe som gjorde det fantastisk. Til slutt var været veldig bra, noe som gjorde at vi fikk besøkt alle stedene på reiseplanen. Anbefales på det sterkeste!

We were so lucky to meet Joanna again at the Taipei National Palace Museum! Her explanations were clear and accessible, blending rich historical knowledge with many fascinating little stories that kept us from just skimming the surface of the artifacts. The entire experience was relaxed yet fulfilling, and you could truly feel Joanna's passion for history and culture. It was a truly worthwhile guided tour experience, highly recommended! ❤️

we got a lot out of the tour and didn’t expect to see and learn so much of the area. made a big difference visiting all the stops with someone who knows her stuff. would take a similar tour in future.

Jeg hadde en fantastisk vandretur med Lina. Hun er veldig kunnskapsrik og forklarte hele Taiwans historie på en konsis måte. Jeg vil på det sterkeste anbefale turen til alle som nettopp har kommet til Taiwan. Det er et flott lynkurs for å forstå historien til Taipei og Taiwan.
