The whale watching activity was canceled due to bad weather, but the tour guide seemed inexperienced and unable to arrange and execute a backup plan in a timely manner. When we stopped along the way, they also didn't announce the meeting time. Luckily, the group members were quite good and didn't cause any delays. The guide did provide some brief commentary along the way, and there was someone in our group who didn't understand Chinese, but the guide hardly used English to accommodate them.

The scenery was beautiful, and the pie was delicious. The snacks and lunch provided were also very tasty. However, the meeting time was too early. The places we visited were truly beautiful, even though we drove on many highways because the guide went to the parking lot without waiting for everyone at the meeting point, which led to us not being able to find the guide at the designated meeting spot.

From the moment, I was picked up at my hotel accommodation to the trip it was nothing but amazing. The tour driver was very knowledgeable and very ethusiastic during the trip. All of our itinerary and tourist spots were ticked off. I highly recommend to do this Tranzalpine tour from Christchurch to Arthur's Pass. It was my first time in Christchurch and I fell in love with the place. Castle Hill, Otira Viaduct and Devil's Punchbowl Waterfall is a must see + we get to see a Kea bird. I would surely come back next time.

We had a wonderful private tour to Akaroa and the alpaca farm from Christchurch. Although it was more pricey, the private tour was absolutely worth it. The highlight of the trip was definitely the alpaca farm. We had plenty of time to feed, pat, and take photos with the alpacas, and we also learned a lot about these gentle animals from the informative session. Our driver & guide Zhen was friendly, helpful, and incredibly patient throughout the day. We especially appreciated how safely and smoothly he navigated the winding hill roads to the alpaca farm, which made the journey comfortable and enjoyable. The tour was well organised and relaxed, giving us enough time to enjoy each stop without feeling rushed. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Christchurch and looking for a memorable day out.

Vi bestilte en transfertur fra Queenstown til Christchurch den 26. juni. Fra starten var kommunikasjonen sømløs; resepsjonsteamet svarte raskt på alle spørsmål før turen og sendte nyttige sikkerhetspåminnelser. Alt var perfekt forberedt. Kjøringen var eksepsjonelt trygg. Vår morgenguide var energisk og delte flotte lokale historier. Guidene elsker tydeligvis jobbene sine og det newzealandske landskapet, og tok oss med til hemmelige utsiktspunkter med god tid til å ta bilder. Sjefen deres ringte til og med underveis for å sjekke veiforholdene etter nylig snøfall – en omtenksom gest. De reddet også dagen vår ved Mount Cook ved å tilby isbrodder da vi innså at joggeskoene våre ikke var nok, i tillegg til vann og snacks. Overgangen til neste etappe var sømløs. Damen som tok over var svært ansvarlig, sørget for at vi ikke glemte noe og ventet sammen med oss. Til slutt slapp vår sjåfør i Christchurch alle trygt av rett ved deres respektive hoteller i tide. Since I had plans to stay in Lake Tekapo that day, I emailed to ask if I could be dropped off along the way, and they kindly agreed. Thanks to them having communicated this to the guide in advance, I was able to join the tour without any worries! The two-hour stay at Mount Cook gives you enough time to do the round trip on the beginner hiking trail ^_^ In addition to the guide's commentary inside the vehicle, we were also given snacks and hamburgers as travel companions, making it a very fulfilling tour. Thank you very much!

Familien min og jeg hadde en fantastisk tid under den 13 timer lange varebilturen fra Christchurch til Queenstown. Kostnaden for turen var vel verdt det, siden vi fikk nyte alle severdighetene og stoppene vi gjorde. Snacks og lunsj var også deilige og mettende. Rosie hentet oss fra hotellet vårt og tok oss til Lake Tekapo og Mount Cook, mens Abbie kjørte oss fra Mount Cook til High Country Salmon Farm og deretter til overnattingsstedet vårt i Queenstown. Selve turen føltes komfortabel og trygg. Det var 3 ledige seter i Rosies varebil, mens Abbie sin var full med 16 personer. Dette var en veldig morsom måte å komme seg rundt på. Vil definitivt anbefale Cheeky Kiwi til venner og familie!
