Milan

We are very happy with the cooking class. Our instructor, Damiano, is very patient, and we have learned a lot about Italian cooking. We all agree that the pasta he taught us to make is one of the best pastas we have ever had, as well as the Tiramisu. We will love to go back and learn more.

We had a wonderful experience at the pizza and gelato making class. Everything felt very genuine, well organised, and thoughtfully run. The instructors were extremely friendly and especially attentive with children, making it very toddler-friendly throughout the session. What stood out most was how well they engaged a 3-year-old in the activities. She was fully included in the pizza-making process and even had the opportunity to make her own pizza with guidance from the chef, who helped her shape it into a heart. This personal touch made the experience memorable for the whole family. We also got to make our own pizza from scratch and enjoy it afterwards, along with the gelato-making segment, which was equally enjoyable and interactive. Highly recommended for families travelling with young children looking for an engaging and hands-on food experience.

Har alltid likt å besøke Milano-katedralen. Blir alltid imponert over hvor vakker den er og har lurt på hvordan den ble bygget. Museet la til enda flere høydepunkter under omvisningen vår. Anbefales på det sterkeste å bestille/besøke mens du er i Milano. Få tidlig tilgang for å unngå store folkemengder.

Anbefaler å gå opp på kirketaket/tårnet 😍 det er virkelig vakkert ❣️ Etter å ha lest anmeldelser valgte jeg å ta heisen, og etter opplevelsen er jeg helt enig i at dette var det beste valget ❣️ Men vær oppmerksom ‼️ Det er også noen trapper man må gå, og de er høye og bratte ‼️ Når man skal ned må man gå trapper, og de er veldig smale ‼️ Personer med skader i beina og eldre bør vurdere dette nøye ‼️ Bilde 4: Viser to eldre personer som sakte går ned trappene (jeg fikk ikke tatt bilde av selve trappene da, de var veldig bratte og litt farlige). Etter å ha gått denne korte trappestrekningen satte de seg ned for å hvile 🥺

Serravalle Designer Outlet is an easy and worthwhile shopping trip from Milano Centrale Railway Station. The shuttle journey is smooth and seamless, taking about 3 hours round-trip. Tip: choose front or mid seats at pickup from Centrale FS for a more comfortable ride. The outlet itself offers an excellent retail mix with a wide range of international and luxury brands. The shopping experience stands out for its attractive discounts, with many stores offering substantial savings throughout the year. Store layouts are spacious and well-maintained, allowing for a relaxed browsing experience even during peak hours. Overall, Serravalle Designer Outlet combines accessibility, comfort, and strong retail value, making it a worthwhile addition to any Milan itinerary.

Jeg hadde en flott tur og vil absolutt anbefale den! Dagen startet nær Milano Centrale, hvor vi møtte gruppen vår. En hyggelig overraskelse var da sjåføren vår, Alfonso, ga en rose til alle kvinnene på turen♡ en fantastisk måte å starte dagen på. Vårt første stopp var Como, som var vakkert, etterfulgt av Bellagio, mitt favorittsted. Jeg skulle bare ønske vi hadde mer tid der. Guiden vår, Sonia, var fantastisk og ga gode anbefalinger ved hvert stopp, fra steder å se til kafeer, konditorier og lokale delikatesser. Båtturen på Comosjøen var et annet høydepunkt, med fantastisk utsikt over innsjøen og kjente villaer mens Sonia delte interessant informasjon underveis. Vi avsluttet dagen i Lugano, Sveits, som føltes som en skjult perle. Naturen var vakker, atmosfæren var avslappet, og det føltes mindre folksomt enn andre destinasjoner. Alt i alt var det en godt organisert tur med fantastisk utsikt, god veiledning og minneverdige opplevelser.

It was great that I could leave my luggage at the meeting point, and the guide was friendly and explained everything cheerfully, making the tour very enjoyable.

I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Milan independently and looking for a local tour to Lake Como! It was my first time joining a tour with a foreign guide and being the only non-foreigner among a group of international travelers, so I was a bit worried about how it would go. However, the meeting point was exactly as marked on the map, and both the bus driver and the guide were very kind. Especially our guide, Chiara, she constantly looked out for me, who was traveling alone, and meticulously checked if I was comfortable, so I never felt out of place. I also didn't research any lunch spots beforehand, but the guide immediately booked a recommended restaurant for me on the spot, so I had a great lunch. (It was also funny and helpful when I was debating menu options, and she honestly told me which ones weren't great and which were better, haha!) Exploring Como and Bellagio can be surprisingly tiring, but traveling comfortably by bus meant I could even catch some sleep on the way back. The return journey was also incredibly beautiful, passing by the Alps and offering views of Swiss lakes. Thank you so much, Guide Chiara! As a side note, when crossing the lake, you'll be on a huge cruise ship. I recommend doing a headcount with the guide on deck first, and then standing by the edge of the boat to get the best view. A lot of people get on, and if you sit in a chair, everyone blocks your view, so you won't see anything. Also, it gets cold, so a jacket is essential!
