Turen vår med Taiwan High Speed Rail fra Chiayi til Taipei var en utmerket opplevelse fra start til slutt. Toget gikk presis i rute, og hele reisen føltes utrolig jevn og effektiv. Setene var rene, komfortable og hadde god benplass, noe som gjorde det enkelt å slappe av og nyte turen. Vi var spesielt imponert over hvor stille og velholdt alt var. De store vinduene ga oss en fin utsikt over Taiwans landskap mens vi suste nordover. Det som virkelig skilte seg ut var hvor rask og praktisk turen var – det som normalt ville tatt timer med bil, føltes raskt og stressfritt. Personalet var også høflige og hjelpsomme, noe som bidro til den generelt positive opplevelsen. Alt i alt var det en veldig komfortabel, pålitelig og behagelig måte å reise på tvers av Taiwan. Anbefales på det sterkeste for alle som ønsker en problemfri reise!

It's been a long time since I visited Sun Moon Lake, and it has changed so much, becoming more modern. Times are constantly progressing, and so is travel. I've been thinking that in this ever-changing and special era, after not going out for some time, the world outside changes even more. I hope everyone can explore the world within their reach. You don't need to go abroad; Sun Moon Lake is already incredibly beautiful. Its beauty is serene, profound, with stunning lake and mountain scenery, often shrouded in misty clouds. It's subtle, understated, yet deeply captivating; not rushed, but wonderfully peaceful and beautiful. Transportation is also convenient; you can take a bus, boat, drive, ride a bicycle, or rent an electric scooter to tour the lake. With the internet so advanced now, booking accommodations, tickets, and shopping are all very convenient. If you don't require top-tier luxury, all the prices are very affordable, allowing you to enjoy yourself without overspending. However, if you're a bit older, you should consider the strain of overexertion. For example, after cycling all day, and with some personal aches, I need to be mindful of my own limits and not overdo it. The ability to travel itself is a treasure. Don't say you don't have money or time. In fact, my past travel experiences were all accomplished under such circumstances. With time, opportunity, and a little bit of money, you can go out and see things. Your perspective on life might change. Perhaps with a shift in mindset, a path will open up, and even seemingly impassable roads will become clear. Keep going! I wish everyone success in their endeavors and peace in all things. Booking your seats in advance and then picking up your tickets at Taiwan Railways is super convenient! Another local tour must be used within seven days after the departure date. I chose a three-day tour of Yilan, which also came with a reusable EasyCard! What a great value!

This time, I chartered a car for a day in Taiwan with my children and elderly mother! Our driver, Mr. Wang, picked us up at the hotel right on time and drove us safely from morning till night, covering the long round trip from Taipei to Taichung, including bathroom breaks. For lunch, Mr. Wang recommended an affordable and authentic Taiwanese restaurant, and he was very thoughtful, even giving us donuts along the way, guiding us to various places, and parking the car conveniently close. Thanks to him, both my children and mother said they had a wonderful time and were very satisfied! He truly did an excellent job with the long journey! He also explained various places to us, and I think it would be fantastic if Mr. Wang could drive us again if we visit Taiwan in the future!

We truly enjoyed this private tour! 😁 Our guide, Calvin, was incredibly kind and professional. His driving was very smooth and comfortable, even on the zigzag roads going to Sun Link Sea, we felt safe and relaxed the whole time. He's also great at taking photos, which made the trip even more memorable. 😁The tour was well-paced, stress free, and very enjoyable from start to finish.
