Our ride on the Taiwan High Speed Rail from Chiayi to Taipei was an excellent experience from start to finish. The train departed right on time, and the entire journey felt incredibly smooth and efficient. The seats were clean, comfortable, and had plenty of legroom, making it easy to relax and enjoy the ride. We were especially impressed by how quiet and well-maintained everything was. The large windows gave us a nice view of Taiwan’s scenery as we sped north. What really stood out was how fast and convenient the trip was—what would normally take hours by car felt quick and stress-free. The staff were also polite and helpful, adding to the overall positive experience. Overall, it was a very comfortable, reliable, and enjoyable way to travel across Taiwan. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a hassle-free journey!

The shuttle bus departs from the rear station of Chiayi Train Station. Please gather 10 minutes early. A reminder SMS will be sent the day before. For the Dragon Boat Festival long weekend, the ferry company provided ferry schedule information by phone the day before departure. Budai Port was very crowded, but the weather and sea conditions were good. The journey to Magong Port took approximately 80 minutes.

very tiring 30mins walk going back. but alishan is very magical and very cold temperature dropped to 9°C. food is very expensive around the area. there was no fog when we visited

this 3-day pass helped me explore kaoshiung, taichung, and chiayi. saved a lot. and easy to use

I think it is the most comfortable way to travel to Alishan. The driving was so steady that I could easily fall asleep. Also, it’s great to have a tour guide to talk about the history of Alishan, and having a stop in the middle was great for a rest from the hours long journey.

The owner was very nice. All the scooters had just been returned to the airport, so there were many options. The owner specifically picked out a very new Yamaha for us, and it was in excellent condition. Plus, the owner emphasized that we didn't need to refuel when returning it because there was still half a tank of gas, and since we were just riding around nearby, it should be enough (but I still added 50 yuan). Mr. Chen is a very experienced driver, friendly and very easy to converse with. My group of 4 travellers had a very wonderful experience with him as our driver for the the entire day to Alishan.

This time, I chartered a car for a day in Taiwan with my children and elderly mother! Our driver, Mr. Wang, picked us up at the hotel right on time and drove us safely from morning till night, covering the long round trip from Taipei to Taichung, including bathroom breaks. For lunch, Mr. Wang recommended an affordable and authentic Taiwanese restaurant, and he was very thoughtful, even giving us donuts along the way, guiding us to various places, and parking the car conveniently close. Thanks to him, both my children and mother said they had a wonderful time and were very satisfied! He truly did an excellent job with the long journey! He also explained various places to us, and I think it would be fantastic if Mr. Wang could drive us again if we visit Taiwan in the future!

Our driver arrived 15 minutes early. Our driver, 小楊 (Yang), always helped us get in and out of the car, which we really appreciated. I also forgot to include two locations in the Changhua itinerary I sent beforehand, but he accommodated them very well without any issue. He even recommended a really delicious rou bao (肉包) near Lukang Longshan Temple—after tasting it, we ended up buying a whole box to eat at the hotel. Communication via LINE was smooth and easy. He also played great music during the drive; I honestly wish I knew his playlist. We had a very pleasant and comfortable drive to and from Lukang. Highly recommended.
