Workshop i ramenlaging, skålmaling og buljonglaging i Kyoto

It was an amazing opportunity. The instructor was knowledgeable and made the process fun. Kids especially enjoyed tasting the ramen at the end. Overall, it was a delightful and educational experience. I highly recommend this experience to anyone interested in Japanese cuisine.

What a morning! We had no idea what to expect when we went to this experience as it was still relatively new on Klook. So glad we took the opportunity to do this one! Shin (the founder of the restaurant and academy) is a cooking genius! The core ingredients for the ramen are all made from scratch in his restaurant, the recipe being the same one used in his Michelin recognised restaurant in Toronto. He teaches you about the cooking process and you assemble your own bowl of ramen. While you aren’t cooking from absolute scratch (you’d need 2 days with his method), you do learn about the full process and about the method in the kitchen after noodles and soup base have been made. The process was smooth and easy to understand as Shin was a great teacher whose English was clear. We also painted our own bowls which we then collected the next day. The ramen was the best we ate on the trip, and they took into consideration my allergy, though it might not be possible to accommodate all needs.

We had an amazing time at the ramen and bowl painting class! Amir and Shin were fantastic—both super attentive, patient, and fun to learn from. The class was well-paced, and they made sure everyone in our group felt comfortable and engaged throughout. Painting the bowls was such a creative touch, and enjoying our handmade ramen in them afterward made the experience even more special. Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a hands-on, memorable group activity!

Shin and Sherry were super friendly, accomodating and very helpful. our family of 4 had an amazing time renge painting and making and eating the most delicious ramen! we were thoroughly entertained by Sherry’s hilarious comments. a must do when in kyoto. thank you both for this unique experience!

Such a fun experience! The chef was super knowledgeable and friendly and I loved both paining my own ramen bowl and learning how to make ramen! Plus it was super delicious!!

Al principio hubo un problema porque no habían recibido la reserva pero llamé y enseguida vinieron a atendernos y estuvieron muy pendientes todo el tiempo porque estuviéramos cómodos. la experiencia muy entretenida y el Ramen exquisito, el mejor que hemos comido. recomendado si quieres hacer algo diferente en Japón.

the gentleman had many restaurants and one in tonronto with a micheline star. all of his food including Michelin recipe broth and noodles he prepared himself and explains all the ingredients in detail and you can ask lots of questions. I couldn’t reccomend more it was so so much fun and the ramen bowl painting too!!!! please visit!!

I had an incredible hands-on ramen-making experience with Mr. Shin, a warm and friendly chef. It was so much fun to learn the step-by-step process of making ramen while also getting a glimpse into Japanese culture through cooking. One of the highlights was painting my own ramen spoon — such a fun and creative activity! If you’re ever in Kyoto, this place is a must-visit. You’ll absolutely love and enjoy every moment of it.

What a wonderful experience plus the owner and chef was our teacher. He is so nice and friendly. His facility is brand new. We really enjoyed painting our Ramen spoons. We then prepared our Roman Bowls with him. We separated the noodles, boiled the noodles seared the pork, which was some of the best meat I ever had. The best part is eating them after. He has a vegetarian option as well.

These guys are absolutely awesome! They not only accommodated to a change of my reservation on the same day- but they made sure to bring the whole experience!! They were very kind, personable and funny! There was no shortage in ensuring that memories were made and captured on your device for safekeeping! Not even to say the food was INCREDIBLE! We didn’t even get to photograph it- it was so good! Definently gives a newfound perspective on the art of ramen all around!
