This was such a beautiful stay. The balcony views were amazing. All the staff were so kind specially the staff at the pool/bar area. They were so welcoming. The breakfast buffet was delicious ! The best part was having a coffee shop down stairs. Definitely would stay here again.

Overall, the hotel was nice, clean, and had very friendly staff. They were celebrating their 50th year and once we got to our room, we saw that yes, this is an older hotel in need of upgrades. The doors were rotted and chipped at the bottom, furnishings scratched and in need of repair. The toilet was nice, but the bathtub is not secured to the floor, there is a gap, so while standing in the shower, you wobbled and felt the tub bottom shift under you, feeling unstable. The location and views were wonderful, but the hotel is so large and reconstruction is going on in some areas which made navigating the hotel difficult. We spent a great deal of time trying to locate the elevators!!

I’m stay was amazing. All is accessible. The sunrise and sunset oh unbelievable. I will definitely stay again at this resort.

I loved the security of the floors!

It was in a great location to the beach. However, they were doing renovations so that isn’t always the nicest to look at.

The property is convenient to Waikiki Beach and the International Market but is showing a bit of age compared to other hotels in the area. That said it is a very clean hotel. Beds could be more comfortable but that is personal preference. Pool is very small for the size of the hotel but poolside food/ bev/ service is excellent. You must try the Lava Sangria! Concierge at Blue Hawaiian was helpful in booking a last minute excursion due to a closure at Hanauma Bay and had great dinner recommendations. A very walkable area and Lyft/Uber access is quick despite heavier traffic. Tucker and Bevvy is a cute onsite cafe for breakfast with more affordable coffee selections but tends to operate a bit slower. Still worth it if the buffet is not for you or Eggs and Things is a popular local diner just a block or two away. Having beach towels and beach chairs available is convenient. We didn’t use many hotel amenities just because there’s so much to do and see in the area but many are available. Check in was quick and easy.

Staff are very helpful and nice but the property itself needs remodeling. Pool is also way too small and constantly packed with people.

The hotel, while doing some renovations, was perfect! The rooms were spacious and clean. The property was in a great location with the beach, shops, and most things in the area are walkable. I went on a girls trip, but will definitely return here with my family.

Great location. Everything convenient. Many restaurants nearby. They offer beach chairs and towels to take to the beach across the street. The hertz rental car is in the hotel. They offer free cultural classes such as ukulele and lei making. You just have to register. Bus tour for Polynesian Cultural Center picks up from this hotel. Many filtered water stations on each floor. The ABC store downstairs sells the 24 hr Holo bus card. They give you toothbrush, slippers and shampoo conditioner and body wash so you don’t have to pack unless you have sensitive skin. Yes, it is a little outdated and we did see some silverfish and 1 roach in our room but this is the island so we just overlooked it. The view from our balcony was amazing. The waterfall in the lobby was being repaired so I was bummed we didn’t get to see it but the falls at Waimea are the real deal. Mahalo Hawaii. I would stay here again.
