Hotel vicino a Forte San Domingo

This hotel room is very spacious and has everything you need. The air conditioning was decent, and the bed was comfortable. It was a thoughtful touch to include postcards. Although there wasn't a view, many other things were well-appointed. Unfortunately, there aren't many good dining options nearby. The parking space requires careful maneuvering to get into. It's also a bit old. This would be a good place to stay after visiting the old street.

Pros: 1. You can rent a Nintendo Switch to play in your room. 2. The bathtub fills up quickly, and drains very fast after use, though the draining sound is quite loud. 3. It's a family-friendly hotel, suitable for stays with children, offering movies, ride-on cars, and one free DIY craft activity. 4. It's conveniently located near the light rail, making it easy to stay without a car. Cons: 1. The toilet is inside the room, separated only by a wall, so the flushing sound is quite noticeable. 2. The breakfast options are limited, now semi-buffet style. The clams in the seafood congee looked a bit dry, and there was only one type of egg (tea egg). There were also noodles with vegetables, but the roots of the vegetables were slightly black, like unwashed dark spots. The hotel explained that this was due to water damage to the vegetables. However, my thought is, if they knew there was water damage, why didn't they cut off the damaged parts before serving? 3. During check-in, the staff skipped me and proceeded to assist the next group of guests. When I asked the front desk why, stating I was there first, they replied that they thought I was with the previous group. My thought is, why didn't the front desk ask me if I was with the previous group? Other hotels always ask.

It poured rain on the day of our check-in, which was a bit of a bummer. However, the on-site staff gave us a free upgrade to a spacious family room with two large double beds, which made us super happy. The room was very clean and roomy. The room was very clean, and the dehumidifier was very convenient. Close to the Mangrove Station, making transportation very convenient.

The soundproofing is quite good, the bed is very comfortable, and the in-room bathroom facilities are excellent. The golf course view from the window is superb. The breakfast offers a wide variety of vegetarian options, clearly labeled. It's conveniently located for both mountain areas (like the fort) and coastal areas (like Tamsui Bridge and Fisherman's Wharf). This is a hotel I would definitely want to visit again.

This time, staying in Tamsui, I actually saw Chef A-Ji, haha! The breakfast selection was better than last time, and this experience was even better than the first. Perhaps last time was a long holiday, and there were too many people, so breakfast had to be staggered, making it chaotic. This time was much better 🥰. The scenery is truly beautiful, though it's really hot outside. But looking at the sea makes you feel happy and relaxed. The only minor drawback is that there isn't a convenience store nearby at night; you have to walk a bit. While it's not super far, it's quite inconvenient 🤣.

This stay was in Room 802, the "Deluxe Double Room." 1. Although the room wasn't very large, it had two windows offering views of the outside scenery, including the Tamsui River. The room was very clean, odor-free, and equipped with a dehumidifier. The air conditioning could be adjusted. 2. There is a private parking lot. 3. The bathroom had a large bathtub that filled quickly with very hot water. You could also see the Tamsui River from the bathroom window, which was incredibly relaxing. Just remember to bring your own toothbrush! The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. The shampoo and body wash were excellent and smelled great. The shower pressure was a bit low but still acceptable. The hairdryer had good airflow. 4. The lobby offered 24-hour complimentary coffee, tea bags, and cookies, which was a nice touch. The front desk could also arrange for a taxi, providing very thoughtful service. 5. The only minor drawback was that our stay coincided with the hotel's inventory count, so "McDonald's" was provided instead of breakfast. However, the hotel was very generous, offering two burgers, hash browns, a pack of McNuggets, and two cartons of fresh milk for breakfast.

It is close to the Old Street, and stepping outside leads to Yingzhuan Road, which is the real food street 😆. The guesthouse owner has a strict rule: no drinking alcohol, chewing betel nuts, or smoking inside the rooms! Drinking in moderation is fine, but no loud noise or rowdiness, or you will face a fine! That's actually a good thing, as it helps keep the rooms smelling fresh and clean 👍. The rooms do not come with soap, shampoo, or body wash, but you can ask for them and they will provide them to you 😉. There is a water dispenser on the first floor for drinking water! The rooms feature a two-tier refrigerator and slippers! The rooms are also very spacious. Although you can hear sounds when other guests go up and down the stairs, it's not overly bothersome, and the air conditioning is strong, making for a sound sleep 😂. All in all, this place offers great value for the money 😉.

La posizione è davvero eccezionale! Si trova proprio di fronte alla fermata dell'autobus all'uscita della stazione MRT di Tamsui; basta attraversare la strada per arrivarci. Il check-in è self-service con due serrature (codice o tessera magnetica) e un collegamento con la stazione di polizia, il che lo rende molto sicuro. Le camere sono pulite, spaziose, confortevoli e profumate. I pavimenti in legno sono impeccabili. C'è un piccolo divano retrò in pelle e un tavolino da caffè. L'illuminazione è ottima e il bagno è dotato di doccia separata.
