Had a great stay overall at this hotel while celebrating my partner’s birthday. On the first day, the staff felt a bit unaccommodating, but it wasn’t a big issue and didn’t affect our stay too much. Our room had a beautiful west-facing view, and we happened to catch a music event and a cruise ship docked right outside our windows. I’ve read reviews about people complaining about the noise, but honestly, it wasn’t bad at all. The noise didn’t start early or go late into the night — I feel like some people just complain too much sometimes. Breakfast was included and the food was pretty decent. The hotel even prepared a complimentary flower arrangement and birthday message card in our room, which made the occasion feel more special. The only thing to keep in mind is that the hotel is a bit of a walk from the nearest station — not a huge deal, but something to be aware of if you’re carrying luggage. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and lovely views.

Got a cruise blocking the view of the harbour on the first night. luckily it left on the second day, if just staying for one night, would be disappointed. beware if you are booking the west view rooms. other than that the room is quite good, great view from the balcony though very cold this year even in April. got bath tub as well. can also watch YouTube from tv. staff is nice. Hotel is far from the city though. got shuttle service every 20 mins. if you would like to walk or eat until very late at the city. this may not be a good choice for you. otherwise, hotel itself is nice.
