Stayed with family

The property is a little run down but clean. The staff was rude when we were trying to check in. My husband and kids were behind me checking in and were told they couldn’t be there and shooed them away and then when my family moved down the hallway to wait me for me they came and asked them to move again. But no recommendation of where we would wait.

It is a great location to explore Hakone. Stunning views from the hotel grounds of the lake and Fuji on a clear day. The hotel provides a shuttle to Odawara Station.

The hotel has the best MT Fuji view and is next to some of the activities. The only negative thing was the AC was not working properly.

Beautiful hotel in stunning grounds with view of Mt Fuji from some bedroom windows. It's not accessible by foot & public transport to get to the venue was a little bit challenging.

Stayed with friends

Staff were excellent. They were very helpful and friendly. Hot springs was a good experience. Lakeside meal was a great opportunity to taste a variety of Japanese foods. Rooms were comfortable and quiet. Great location for a quiet peaceful break. Courtesy coach was a good method of getting too and from Moto Hakone and to Odawara.
