Access to hotel lobby is very unpleasant, no direct access from carpark and the walk way is only stairs, no lift or even ramps to roll luggage

The location & private onsen were the only positives to this hotel stay. The area is beautiful and fun to explore if you rent a bike for the day!
This hotel however was dirty & uncomfortable. Prepare yourself for stairs because there are no elevators. The room we stayed in had mold behind the tub (the tub was not sealed so the wall behind was getting wet). The shower curtain was moldy. The AC unit was also very dirty & moldy. The bedding was stained & the bed was very uncomfortable. We could hear the TV in the next room & every door closing. When we went to use the laundry (which we had to pay for & for soap), the laundry room (open to the outside) was overcome by flying ants, mosquitoes, and beetles. It was nearly impossible to wash my clothes while constantly swatting away bugs & unsuccessfully trying to keep them out of the washer & dryer. I complained & when we came back the bugs were gone and the door was closed, but I have no idea why that wasn’t taken care of before we complained.
At the end of our stay, we wanted to forward our large suitcase full of souvenirs to our next hotel. They had us fill out the form, which seemed odd as at the other hotels in Japan, the staff would handle that for us. After filling out the paper, we asked how much it would be, which the staff member answered not to worry about it. We were skeptical, but left anyway. Only to find out he had sent it for “cash on arrival”. So the suitcase was not at our next hotel when we arrived.

Fantastic Great place to stay. Hotel is in a secluded spot with great views and facilities. Sitting down in the onsen bath overlooking the ocean after a hard day travelling. Could not think of anything better.
Only small down side is that you need to drive to access restaurants, and convenience stores. Hotel has a restraunt but need to pre book so plan for this.
Highly recommend this place to anyone. A bit of planning and last minute shopping for items before you arrive and you’re set at this place to have a really nice stay.
Thanks to all the staff.

Good Very nice room but hotel lacks of atmosphere, quiet expensive for basic breakfast and dinner buffet provided
Hotel can not be reached by bus, only by car, the beach which can be reached by foot is not very nice

Spent an amazing night at LiVeMAX Resort with my girlfriend. The hotel is definitely far from the station, but they offer a shuttle at check-in (3pm) and check-out (11am).
Beautiful room (we had the Premium twin). Beds are comfortable and pushed together to be like a King size. Everything is new/clean. Loved the private outdoor bath.
Swimming pool and onsen facilities were great. The dinner/breakfast buffet was good. We also found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful (even more genuine feeling than the usual good service you expect in Japan).
Kisami Ohama Beach is about a 15 minute walk from the hotel. Some of the walk is on the side of a road, with no sidewalk, but cars come infrequently and it didn't feel unsafe. Kisami Ohama Beach is beautiful and we spent most of the first day there. On the day of our checkout, we were dropped off by the check-out shuttle at Irita Hama Beach (instead of getting off at the station), and loved that as well.
Overall, extremely satisfied with our stay. If you are aiming for a relaxing, laid-back trip then the remote location shouldn't be a negative, and I think you'll have an amazing stay.

Fantastic Nice Hotel with the good rate. Just the location a bit far away from the point f interest. Never thought about we could have a private Onsen session with looking at the starry sky inside our room. Worth it~
