The location was good just walking distance from ximending area. You won't go hungry since it is near places where you can eat and just few steps away from a 24 hour carrefour where you can also buy pasalubong. But going inside the hotel was kinda difficult if you are a senior or pwd and you have to carry your luggage since there was no ramp and you can also really hear the noise from the upstairs room.

Check-in and check-out were seamless, and the rooms were cleaned daily. While breakfast choices were limited, the food was satisfying. The location is excellent—just a few minutes from Ximending’s shopping area and restaurants. Note that the hotel follows a standard 3:00 PM check-in time.

We had a great time at new world hotel! Walking distance to ximending shopping district, train station and carrefour supermarket. Breakfast was simple and ok! Staff could be friendlier but overall stay was great!

Our stay at New World Hotel Ximending was great! The location is excellent—it’s very accessible, easy to find, and within walking distance of Ximending and public transportation, making it convenient to explore Taipei. The staff were friendly, and the overall stay was comfortable. We also enjoyed the breakfast, which had a good variety of options and was a great way to start each day. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and we would definitely consider staying here again on our next trip to Taipei.

It’s a good hotel. We booked a standard triple room, it is very comfortable. The beds were great, the airconditioning is just right. The breakfast buffet has a variety of food and decent.They replace our towels everyday and fix our beds. I highly recommend it because it is worth the price. It is near Ximending but has a quiet surrounding. Got the room 5k per night for three persons, which is very reasonable.

cleanliness: our rooms and common areas are clean transport access: few minutes walk to Ximen Station Exit 1 breakfast: it was ok, they’re changing the menus everyday. Not enough selection for vegan though service: was good. They’re changing the towels everyday staff: most of them are accommodating. There is no ramp so it’s a hard when u have luggage. There’s Carrefour next to it.

Great stay at New World Hotel! Check-in was smooth at 3:00 PM, and the daily breakfast was excellent with a good variety of options. Housekeeping cleaned the room every day, keeping everything neat and comfortable. The staff were friendly, and the overall experience was very pleasant. Many food stalls near the hotel too! Next to Carrefour also!

We booked this hotel for 4 days 3 nights with free breakfast, and i must say we have smooth process to checked in our room upon our arrival. The location is a bit of a walk from Ximending area, but still near from it. The room we booked is spacious enough for 2 pax, the bed is spacious too. Everyday they clean the room and change the towels. They provide water bottles everyday too. Overall our experience at New World is great and comfy. I just have a little suggestion, in their entrance there's no ramp where the luggage can go through so we struggle a bit there because our luggage is quite heavy and need to carry through the stairs. So it must be comfortable to the guests if there's a ramp in their entrance for luggages.
