We had a very pleasant stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, especially when they immediately arranged assistance when we had difficulty connecting the room Wi-Fi. The location is excellent, only a 3-minute walk from JR Kyoto Station, with a bus stop right outside. Having a 7-Eleven next door, plus Lawson and Don Quijote nearby, made shopping extremely convenient. The only minor drawback was the narrow bathroom and low sink, which made washing our faces slightly awkward. The sink and bathtub also share the same water supply, so they cannot be used simultaneously.

my second hotel in Japan, the best hotel I experienced in my trip Pros: * Japanese and English speaking receptionists * helpful workers and very kind * Amenity bar in the lobby * Luggage forwarding service (Sagawa express) * Room design was beautiful and simple * Storage for luggage underneath the bed * Free refill water stations * Close to Kyoto station * THE BEST PART, had an onsen for both men and women * Right across the street from an avanti (like a mini mall) * There’s also a restaurant/buffet in lobby Cons: * NONE it was one of the best hotel experiences * No heated toilet but that’s just a preference and the onsen makes up for it

Hotel Elcient Kyōto (ホテル エルシエント京都八条口) was one of the most convenient hotels we stayed at in Japan. It's spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The best part is its location, right in front of Kyoto Station, which made getting around incredibly easy. We absolutely loved our stay there. The staff were pleasant, and the room size was noticeably larger than other hotels we stayed in. Highly recommended!

The hotel is conveniently located near the station, with several day tour bus pickup points close by. The room was spacious and equipped with modern facilities. One of the best features was the easy access—no key card needed, just enter your room code to get in.

the best hotel during my trip goes to elcient kyoto. PREMIUM location right next to kyoto station, bus terminals (airport & sightseeing bus), malls that have GU, uniqlo, drugstores, donki (opens until 24.00), extensive and yummy buffet breakfast, public onsen that I did not dare to experience because a lot of people in it. highly recommended..

Easy walking distance from Kyoto Station. The buffet breakfast has good healthy spread. Laundry and public spa available in the hotel. Although it is next to Kyoto Stn, we didn't hear any train noise from our Annex (new building) side of the hotel.
