the taipei garden hotel has a good location. it's near a big grocery called carrefour but it recently changed its name. it's also 24 hours just walking distance

Super wonderful hotel — one of the best I’ve ever stayed in! The staff are friendly and helpful, and the hotel is super clean with an affordable price. Highly recommended. To be honest, the exterior looks a bit old, but the inside is completely modern and not old at all. I booked through Klook — the cheapest option.

Hotel is in a good location, walking distance to ximending. Rooms are nice, staff is helpful and they also have a nice touch by letting you try local Taiwanese snacks from their snack store next door. I’m giving 4 stars solely because one of the bath towels in our room was dirty and had blood stains - as appalled as I was at this, the staff quickly came to our room to change our towels once we called reception to give our feedback. I think this is a one-off case and overall the hotel still offers a pleasant stay.
