This hotel is conveniently situated to most bus routes and to major meet up spots for tours. For example, the tour I took for Sun Moon Lake had one of the meet up locations be at Miyahira (main branch) and it took about 12 minutes to get there, walking. A few negatives about the hotel or maybe just my room was that there was no hot water for the shower, it wasn’t even warming up. I didn’t mind though because it’s hot outside. There was also no hand soap in my room either. Other than that the staff is able to speak English, if need be. Check in is after 4pm but you can leave your luggage so that you can explore the area a bit.

Room was spacious and comfortable enough, location is decent at this value. My only gripe would be the washroom - the shower water doesn't drain that well and you'd have to play around with the tap to find the right temperature

Pros: laundry service has dryer and accessible 24/7. Near YouBike docking station. Staff friendly and responsive. Cons: Aircon of our room has bad smell coming out.

the location is very near to the taichung station! 8 mins walk and you're there. also if you want to go in sunmoon lake, the natou bus station is also near like 8 mins walk too. the hotel is so nice interior and the staff is very nice.
