Great location near the sightseeing cruise, a big 7‑Eleven, and the bus hub, making it very convenient for exploring Hakone and Ashinoko. The unblocked view of the lake, the torii gate, and Mount Fuji from the property is exceptional. The apartment is well equipped and ultra‑modern, with a private onsen and sauna that were a real highlight.
Check‑in was more complicated than expected: there was no staff on site, no pre‑arrival instruction email, and we had to contact the agent urgently on the day to get access. The sleeping rooms themselves were extremely small, with no windows, very humid, a strange smell, and poor ventilation, which made them feel quite suffocating. Despite these issues, the location, views, and facilities made for a memorable one‑night stay, and with better communication and room ventilation, this could easily be a 5‑star experience.

The view was amazing! The technology in the rooms was impressive. The in room onsen and sauna were so luxurious. I regret not booking an extra night. My only complaint was the check in process needs improvement. It took me an hour to check in bc the system kept having issues and making me reregister guests. At least there was a way to quickly contact an agent via iPad at the hotel. I didn’t receive my instructions via email so I had no idea what I was supposed to do, and couldn’t call or email property. But thanks to a review on here I found the details about checking in.

This is a staffless hotel. Unless you require support with checking in. Then you can contact a call center via a tablet on site and video call someone.
I got a first floor room with a walled "garden". And a bunch of trees perfectly in the way covering most of Mt. Fuji. The wall prevented me from seeing Lake Ashi completely unless I step atop something to peer over the wall. From what I can tell all the first floor rooms are like this. Probably why they're the cheapest (I assume!). Make sure to get a room on at least the second floor to see Mt Fuji and Lake Ashi better. At least being on the first floor you can easily walk outside onto the pier/lakefront to see Lake Ashi and Mt. Fuji. One of the best views of both. Sadly just not from the comfort of the room.
But the facilities are amazing, the hot spring is great, and everything is very clean. Very family and pet friendly.

Super peacful place to stay in. we had a orivate onsen and also we got to see mount fuji because the hotel is located in a very good spot
