i wish i could live here. the staff was so sweet, they helped bring me into my room, brought my luggage, and sat me down for check in. i love the free waterbottle they gave, i loved the free drink bar with so much different teas, and i loved the breakfast. their food is so good, their onsen is great, and the parking is free too. the hotel is on a hill so you must get food from the nearby 7-11, sushi resturant, or box burger. i want to stay at this place a again. my daughter and i loved it!

Dinners were excellent but very expensive. Be sure to go to the Hakone open air museum.

Great hotel but they overcharge significantly if you have to make any changes to the reservation especially if you make it at the hotel. The food was ok!

We really enjoyed the hotel as it was very modern and had a unique Japanese style. The pool area and onsen were really luxurious and the food was fine dining and the kids meals were fantastic. The only slight negatives were that the hotel is a 10 minute drive from Gora station and the shuttle buses are not that frequent also the wine was very expensive and it was quite hard to find the onsen as we didn't know it was in the seperate changing rooms. Overall a lovely stay and would recomemnd.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. It’s conveniently located about a 7–10 minute ride from Gora Station via the hotel shuttle. The room was sparkling clean and very spacious, which made our stay extremely comfortable. Breakfast was better than average, with a good selection and quality. We especially enjoyed spending the evening at the hotel lounge, chatting and relaxing with the complimentary tea provided by the hotel — it was such a cozy and pleasant experience. The only downside is that there are no restaurants within walking distance, and the hotel restaurant requires advance reservations. Also, the shuttle service ends at 4:30 PM, but taxis are easily available from Gora Station for approximately ¥1,500. Overall, it’s a lovely and tranquil place to stay, highly recommended for those looking to unwind in Hakone.

This place is definitely a retreat. We had a nice stay. The staff was really nice. The facilities were clean. Be advised for the public onset this is not a tattoos friendly onsen, they do have guest rooms available with private deck tubs. You will need to eat on property (make reservations) if you are not driving. There are no food spots in walking distance in the hills. You can rent electric assisted bikes until 5pm (I think) but it’s still a trek back up. We included breakfast with our stay. I’d skip wine in the lobby as it’s one coin for a taster. You need to get off at Gora station for the shuttle to the hotel! Not to be confused with the last station on the romance car if you book the romance car for train. Over all we have great relaxing stay.

Beautiful property, fantastic staff, and the setting and view is the best around!

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The staff spoke excellent English, and breakfast was amazing. But you have to be prepared to Uber everywhere because the roads aren’t exactly walkable. There are some good food options around - especially Box Burger.
