Hotel Sunplaza was okay for a short stay. The location is convenient, with easy access to train stations, food options and nearby areas like Namba and Shin-Imamiya. The room was basic, but suitable if you only need a place to sleep and keep your luggage. Staff were helpful and check-in was smooth. There were renovations going on during my stay, so some areas felt less comfortable than usual. Overall, it is a practical budget hotel with a good location, but best for travellers who do not need luxury facilities.

If you’re just looking for a room to sleep on, this is a good find. Just beside a JR station and near to popular sites. However, if you’re looking for a more comfortable room, you may need to consider other hotels. You’ll need to share bathrooms with others and the rooms are a bit small than expected. Despite shared bathrooms, it still clean. They will also provide you your basic needs like small towel and toothbrush. For our room, my friend got bed bugs and had some rushes. So if you have sensitive skin, make sure to check the beddings first.

cute and simple tatami bedroom.. it’s just perfect for temporary stay specially for those tourists, -washrooms are all good. -you just need to buy extra for towel and pj’s

in terms of location - the hotel is near the train station. they offer unlimited coffee and tea. the service is really good however, in terms of comfortability - the room which we got for 2 is really small. the pictures shown in klook is really different which is disappointing. overall, i am still recommending the hotel for its accessibility and services. thanks

was a brilliant stay! the staff were very helpful, we only speak English and they were very friendly! there is definitely a strong smell of cigarettes in the elevator and the rooms smell very damp, but they were very clean! the room is small but if you want a stay in a nice hotel close to shin-imamiya station with a traditional Japanese tatami room this is the perfect place!
