One of the most incredible views in all of Bali. Room was fantastic and having filtered water inside the room is a very nice touch. Amazing experience releasing turtle hatchlings into the ocean. Great activities other offered as well. Only downside is loud noise early before sunrise and late at night from the town down the hill.

This was just the most perfect place to stay for us. Everything is, as described. The staff were amazing, made us feel so welcome and were always so helpful. The villa was clean and so was the whole site. Restaurants were very reasonably priced and the food was amazing. You are added to a WhatsApp group on arrival and reception are so helpful, arranging all our transport when needed and a free shuttle to the local shops and around the site if needed. The infinity pools had the most beautiful views as did the two restaurants. The views from the villas, just beautiful.
The spa was lovely and the massages so good!
We don’t usually go back to somewhere we have visited, but we will be going back here for sure.
You are completely out the way of life, surrounded by nature but not far from everywhere you want to go.
I would highly recommend staying here. We will be going back!

The restaturant food is good! Views are amazing! Clean rooms. They have buggy to bring you around sumberkima hill and also to their local supermarkets. People are friendly. No problem communicating. I will highly recommend

After communicating by whatsapp with someone from Sumberkima Hills Retreat, we knew which villa would be appropriate for us to book. We are in our 70s and have some mobility issues. The villa was easy to access for us and to go to the pools, as well as the restaurants, we could book a shuttle, so we would not have to walk up and down the hills. The problem was that once you were driven there, you were required to walk down, or up many steps. This is just to make people with mobility issues aware of access!!
The whole property is truly beautiful and there are amazing views from everywhere you look. From our villa (Asmara 3), we could see the hills and volcanoes in Java, as well as the ocean. At night we witnessed the sunset, and in the morning the sunrise. Taking a taxi down the hills is expensive, so we did not leave the retreat during our 3 night stay.

What can I say this is my second stay here and each time the place is amazing from the villa to pool to the surrounding area just amazing and well thought out. The Euro Restaurant was ok but the Indonesian Restauant overlooking sunset was out of this world. Service was excellent. Reception was interesting asking for same docs again even though were repeat guests and have already given our documents weird. Welcome drink needs an upgrade lol

Amazing views. Stylish spacious rooms. Absolutely beautiful pools. Great food and not expensive at both restaurants. I didn't really like that they permit dogs in the accommodation and around the pool.
