Had such a great experience with Bali Tarantula! We did both the ATV ride and Ayung River rafting, and honestly everything was so well arranged from start to finish. The timing, preparation and overall flow were really smooth. We didn’t have to worry about what to do next because everything was clearly organised. The staff were also helpful and made the whole experience feel easy and enjoyable. Both ATV & water rafting route was super fun and surprisingly long with different types of terrain! Definitely worth trying if you’re looking for some adventure in Bali. Would highly recommend Bali Tarantula! 🤍

Before rafting, you'll put on a life vest and helmet. After a short drive, you'll need to climb many stairs, both up and down, to reach the rafting area, so you'll likely be out of breath and sweating. The actual rafting lasts about an hour and a half, with a 30-minute break in the middle where you can buy drinks (NT$120). Afterward, there's lunch, which is decent. I recommend sitting in the front left for the best photos, as you won't be blocked. There will be people taking photos and videos at various spots, and at the end, they'll ask if you want to buy the video and photos for around NT$800, which is quite expensive. I suggest splitting the cost with your rafting companions to make it more affordable. Thank you so much to Oktova, our wonderful guide! He picked us up at 7:00 a.m., and we started the day with an ATV ride. After that, we stopped at a coffee shop, where we enjoyed nasi goreng, mie goreng, and a coffee tasting experience. Next, we visited the rice terraces, changed into beautiful dresses, and tried the swing. Oktova stayed with us throughout the day and took lots of photos and videos for us, which made the experience even more memorable. We also really enjoyed chatting with him in the car. He taught us some Indonesian words and recommended some great local restaurants. Thanks to Oktova, we had such a fun and memorable day in Bali. The driver picked us up exactly on time. It was great that we only had to walk down stairs for about 7-8 minutes to reach the rafting starting point, and then we could immediately transfer to a truck at the end point. The guides were cheerful and fun, and thanks to them, we laughed a lot during the rafting. Individual lockers were provided, which made storing our belongings convenient. For lunch, we had fried rice, noodles, three side dishes, and chicken soup, which was decent. The showers weren't bad, and it was nice that large towels were provided.

We had the most amazing time water rafting Ayung River and visiting the waterfalls with our driver Purna who was so patient and accommodating to our needs. He never said no to our requests even if it was for coffee or having lunch that was not on the itinerary. He never asked for anything in return and he was genuinely willing to show us and make us feel how Balinese people are. Thank you Purna and for everything you did for us! We really really enjoyed our tour with you!!!! Highly recommended to anybody looking for a good tour guide in Bali! And also a good bonus he is a very good photographer and videographer! 🫶🏼♥️

We had a great time rafting and riding the ATV today! Our driver was very friendly, and everything was well organized and went smoothly. I especially recommend the rafting. The scenery along the Ayung River was beautiful, and our rafting guide was very energetic and made the whole experience so much fun. Highly recommended!

After checking out of the Bali Beach Hotel, we took an 8-hour guided car tour to experience Sobek Ayung River Rafting. Our reservation was for 1:30 PM, and we naturally assumed we would go directly to the starting point. However, we first went to the endpoint, and then, with our rafting guide, proceeded to the starting point. We were a bit surprised at first, but the clear instructions helped us proceed without any issues. Best of all, we were the only family booked for 1:30 PM, so my two sons, aged 9 and 13, and I (their mother) had a boat all to ourselves, allowing us to enjoy the experience at our leisure. We had a truly wonderful time admiring the beautiful scenery of the Ayung River. Our veteran guide led us safely and expertly, so we felt completely at ease enjoying the rafting with our children. The shower facilities after rafting were clean, and the meal was delicious. We made truly great memories with my 9-year-old and 13-year-old children.
