Penang Päiväretket

We enjoyed our guided tour with Rana who is knowledgeable about fruit trees he introduced to us and we enjoyed eating the different fruits besides the juice and fruits package we bought via Klook. Overall a fun tour but beware can be very hot and mosquitoes too. Also you can request the ticketing office to help book taxi to leave the place as we are near to closing time at 5:15 pm.

Varaa se! Opas selitti upeasti Penang Hillin historiaa, buddhalaisten käytäntöjen eroja, paikallista kulttuuria ja temppelien historiaa. En olisi ymmärtänyt paikkaa näin syvällisesti ilman tätä selitystä. Ehdottomasti sen arvoinen.

Thank you to Josh for sharing his hometown knowledge. We would highly recommend this tour.

This tour is an absolute must while visiting Penang - we learnt so much about the local history and culture thanks to Eddie. The tour was well paced and we biked through some stunning locations. We received a message the night before with details about our pick up time and location, the pick up car was also very punctual. Highly recommend this to anyone travelling in Penang :)

We had an enjoyable half-day tour around Balik Pulau. Ken was a knowledgeable and friendly tour guide who shared interesting insights into Penang’s history, along with her personal experiences. She also brought us to a lovely local café where we had the opportunity to savour authentic Penang dishes. The nutmeg factory was relatively small, but it was interesting to hear the owner explain the different stages of nutmeg cultivation, from young plants to mature trees. We also bought some locally made belacan, which turned out to be quite tasty! Overall, it was a pleasant experience and a nice way to explore the local culture and flavours of Balik Pulau. However, while we enjoyed the tour, we felt that it was a little pricey for what was offered and could have provided better value for money.

It was convinient, guide was good and overall nice experience. It was really hot when we went and the convince of your own transport was helpful.Pengang hill was nice and with express train pass there was hardly any waiting time.

super great experience! would definitely recommend anyone that enjoy cycling, nature & want to experience kampung vibes!! tour guide is very knowledgeable & i’m definitely coming here again with my family :) do note that if u want better view, go during their fruits season which is during may-july!

it was a really amazing experience. the fact that every single entry ticket was included - was so convenient and without any stress. Anson was extremely helpful and courteous, highly recommend him to all.
