Things to do in Milford Sound

Real value for money trip. Cal was great. Pick-up was on time, designated stops were well-thought of, and time allotted per stop was good. Our bus was new and had USB-type charging ports. The trip to Milford Sound was as good as the destination. We got a pie, an apple, chips, and a candy bar for lunch. Overall, really good deal. Do recommend.

Nice snacks corner included with the cruise. I think cause it was an early one, everyone headed straight to make tea, coffee and took some cookie biscuits for a start. I was surprised they continued to refill the cookies too. The staff helped to take our photos at the waterfalls which is a very helpful gesture especially if you are on a solo trip. Since its a smaller boat, we managed to go right infront of the falls. Overall, the whole cruise from start to end was good and I was very glad we decided to do this.

Booking the Milford Sound scenic cruise through Klook was a perfect experience! The process, from online reservation to exchanging tickets on-site, was incredibly smooth and simple, saving a lot of hassle. The cruise ship itself was spacious and comfortable, with excellent views from every seat. Even on the outdoor deck, we felt completely safe. During the journey, the magnificent glacial fjord scenery was breathtaking, with towering cliffs on both sides and powerful waterfalls cascading down, leaving us in awe. The most delightful surprise was spotting wild seals basking on the rocks during the cruise. Complimentary coffee and hot tea were thoughtfully provided on board, which was especially comforting in the cool fjord breeze. Overall, this was a high-quality and excellent value nature and wildlife tour, an absolute must-do classic itinerary when visiting New Zealand's South Island. The most unforgettable and rewarding experience! Lovely driver especially, I love the radio on board, lots of familiar and classic songs that I can sing along with. And we were so lucky that it was a cloudy and rainy day so that we could see multiple small waterfalls besides the big ones.

We took a round trip through Milford Sound on a small cruise ship, which can only accommodate a limited number of passengers. Perhaps because of its small size, the captain navigated the boat into every nook and cranny, allowing us to see special sights up close. It was especially fun to go right under a waterfall and get completely soaked by the spray! Two hours didn't feel long at all; it was a wonderful experience.

Overall it was a good tour, beautiful sight at Milford Sound and the various viewing spots along the way. You may spot the Kea bird at one of the lookout point too.
