Pretty nice trip. The ferry transfer is okay and leaves exactly on time. The tour with the bus guide is only about 1–1.5 hours, then you have your own time after. You can swim at the beach, so better bring extra clothes. Just be mindful of the time so you don’t get left by the ferry. There are also stores around where you can buy food. The carrot cake is the best! also, please do not touch or feed the quokkas!

The ferry tickets are very cheap and the location is easy to find. If I have the opportunity to go again, I will still book tickets from this company.

A very authentic camping area, suitable for families. The rooms are on the smaller side compared to other Discovery Park series accommodations, but they are fully equipped with everything you need.

Enjoyed myself with the tour! Select a date according to the weather is advisable. It wont be good if it is too hot or rainy. Recommend the 90mins bus tour over cycling for more comfort and a knowledgeable Tourist Guide that gives great information of the island, the animals and history of Rottnest. The timing was good for a 90mins tour, lunch, with a visit to the museum and then a 30mins tour by the voluntary groups to understand about the quokkas.

Rottnest Island is an absolute gem, offering turquoise waters, pristine beaches, and the famous quokkas that make every visit unforgettable. The island’s relaxed vibe, car-free roads, and scenic cycling paths create the perfect escape from city life. Snorkeling at The Basin or watching the sunset at Pinky Beach are highlights not to be missed. The ferry ride itself is smooth, comfortable, and well-organized, with friendly staff ensuring the journey is enjoyable from start to finish. Convenient schedules and stunning ocean views make the trip part of the adventure. A seamless experience leading to paradise—highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is not a hop-on, hop-off bus. You only get to get off at one stop for the tour, which is a shame, but the guide was very funny and quite nice. It was fun seeing all the quokkas
