I go to Yufuin once a year 4 times. I could not use all of the ryokan in Yufu, but I could tell that Ikkoten is the best of best ryokan. Price is bit more expensive than others, but you will not regret for price at all!.

wonderful onsen experience...the hotel itself surrounded by very nice natural environment, the room was spacious and clean, the staffs were very polite and helpful, the food was good! moreover it located at close proximity to various attractions...highly recommend!
