FantasticStayed with partner
Aging buildings in superb location.
Great value.
Mostly for conferences, so casual visitors like us organise own food via local cafes in quaint nearby villages

GoodSolo stay
It’s very dated and gives domitory style accommodation. Walls are very thin and I could hear everything in the next room and corridor. I could hear a man in an adjuscent room snore the whole night. Staff are not available onsight after-hours. I had to walk a very long way from my room to get hot water/tea and use the microwave which is in the common room, because the taps closest to me were broken. My room was full of ants and the bathroom tiles are brown with stains. Bed not so comfortable but okay. The staff at front desk are also very useless and unhelpful and don’t know much about the area. The lady at the desk basically told me that her job was just to check people in and out and could not tell me if I could get an Uber out of the property since I did not have a car. The place is far from the main road and you have to walk a very long way to get public transport. Also, I was unreachable the whole time as there is no cellular service. There is wifi though. The tvs are also tiny and you can barely watch anything.

Good This is a good place for independent travellers. Staff are not readily available and there are is no on site cafe / catering or food service available to casual guests. Setting is nice, lots of parking and quiet

GreatStayed with friends · For leisure
Nice staff.
Tiny bathroom and toilet.
A bit dated, but still clean.
The place was almost empty but you can hear every step in the corridor.
Amazing area and fairly close to Olinda.

FantasticStayed with family · For friends and family
Lovely receptionist, the room and hotel were neat and tidy. It has its own pool and little gym downstairs. You can head out to dinner, or like us go to the local IGA in Olinda and bring your food back to enjoy on the hotel grounds. The location is absolutely beautiful and a perfect place to spend a night or two for those who, like my family and I, love to be in a secluded spot surrounded by nature. It's very affordable for a room in the Dandenong ranges, right near Olinda which is a very charming little town. The hotel grounds are just like botanic gardens, the air is fresh, and you get a mutitude of wild birds for company. The pool is cool and deep, and relaxing. Honestly, great value for money.
