Solo stay

For the price it would have been a good to great deal, except the beds aren't firm, they are hard. Sleeping on a wood board, kind of hard. My heels would start to ache after sleeping on my back for a few hours. Enough to wake me up. I also purchased a memory foam pillow while I was there because the the pillows they had flattened out to about an inch and were of such low quality. Location is great, price is great, but if you can't sleep, it's not great.

Room and hotel were clean, great housekeeping services. Room was spacious and the space was very quiet. The bar/restaurant below it is perfect for a drink or a bite. Would definitely stay here again.

Location perfect, 2 minutes from beach road. Room was dated. Aircon worked well. Shower had no hot water. Complained a few times but never got resolved.

Good location but currently undergoing renovations ( much needed!), so some days loud drilling noises and other days strong paint smells. Internet connection also variable, especially for an iPhone. Probably value for money but nothing flash. Oh by the way, the swimming pool is just a large spa pool. You won’t get any exercise in it!

First time staying at this hotel. Have to say that the staff were excellent, everything was kept tidy and the location was great for a number of different areas of interest. The security was interesting, instead of a safe in your room it is behind reception and has 2 keys that have to go in together, 1 for you and 1 for the staff, which I thought was mega secure and a good idea. Only thing stopping the 5 stars are that the hotel could do with an overhaul, looks like there have been no upgrades for a number of years and I was surprised to find no tea making facilities in the room.
