Fantastic 5.0
It feels like grabbing tickets on Klook isn't too difficult. Even 10 minutes after the release time, I noticed premium tickets were still available. However, I read online that unless you're a hardcore Ghibli fan, just buying a weekday ticket is enough. I bought a Friday weekday ticket. The park opens at 10:00 AM, and I arrived around 10:45 AM, yet I still couldn't finish seeing everything. I completely ran out of time to visit the Valley of Witches, so I'm really glad I didn't get the premium ticket; otherwise, I would have had to rush through everything because every single design is so lifelike, beautiful, and dreamlike. In the Valley of Witches, I also bought a ticket on-site to tour one of the houses. Please note that photography is not allowed inside, but the interior is stunning and well worth a visit. I'm usually not someone who is obsessed with taking photos for social media. Even though they say the Valley of Witches isn't huge, by the time I finished lunch, it was already 2:00 PM. I checked the official website and saw that if your scheduled entry time for the Grand Warehouse is 2:00 PM, you just need to enter by 3:00 PM. My personal advice is that entering around 2:30 PM is just right. If you go right at 2:00 PM, there is a long line. If you stroll over by 2:30 PM, there is no line at all, and visitors have already started dispersing to various parts of the warehouse. Inside the Grand Warehouse, there is a red central exhibition hall where people queue up to take photos of the Spirited Away train scene. My personal advice is to line up for this last, as the crowds will be much smaller. Also, if you enter at 4:00 PM, you basically don't have to wait in line at all to take photos of all the sets across these two levels. Therefore, I suggest taking photos in other areas first after entering the Grand Warehouse and saving this red exhibition hall for last. Lastly, I just want to say that, considering this as a theme park, closing at 5:00 PM is way too early!

Fantastic 5.0
If you enjoy taking photos, you might want to choose just one location, otherwise you'll feel rushed. Alternatively, I'd suggest staying overnight. Our driver was excellent; she drove very smoothly and was extremely polite. A six-hour round trip (three hours each way) must have been tiring for her. I highly recommend visiting Shirakawa-go in both summer and winter; it's truly beautiful.

Everything was really great overall. We got to everywhere we wanted/needed to be and the instructions got me where I needed to go. I do wish some of the finer points (like going to the information desk to pick up the tickets instead of just “B1 of Kitte” or a better guide for getting to the bus stop). Otherwise, super helpful to have everything bundled into one when I can’t buy tickets from the website directly.

Fantastic 5.0
◎ The timing was excellent; we not only explored three areas of Ghibli Park but also visited Japan's renowned Toyota Museum. The itinerary was very fulfilling. ◎ The round-trip bus saved us a lot of time we would have spent on transfers. The bus was quite comfortable, and I even fell asleep on the way back. ◎ Our tour guide was a very interesting Japanese gentleman, I believe his name was "Ushida Yasuhiro." On the way there, he patiently introduced the itinerary, counted heads, and kept the atmosphere lively. On the way back, seeing that everyone was tired, he started singing for us and even handed out song sheets (Ponyo's theme song, which Fan Xiaoxuan covered as "Doudoulong"). The trip was quite enjoyable. ◎ Ghibli Park is definitely worth a visit; it's Miyazaki's world everywhere you look. I spent a long time taking photos in the Ghibli's Grand Warehouse. At Mononoke Village, I didn't have the patience to wait in long lines, so I only spent about an hour there and rode the carousel 🎠. There were many tourists from Japan, Korea, and Taiwan, and they were all quite enthusiastic and willing to help take photos, which was very nice. ◎ Afterwards, we went to the Toyota Museum and saw many cars, souvenirs, and cultural exhibits. It was excellent.

Fantastic 5.0
The location is very close to the subway station, and there's a convenience store less than a 5-minute walk downstairs, which is very convenient. It was raining heavily on the day we arrived, and we got there early before our room was ready. We left our luggage, and when we returned at 3 PM to check in, the staff informed us that the room was ready and our luggage had already been placed inside. The service was excellent! The only downside is that the bathroom is quite small; if you're a larger person, you might find it a bit tight to turn around. ( ̄O ̄;)

Explore Kiki's Bakery and Room

Visit the adorable bakery from Kiki's Delivery Service where you can buy real baked goods. Climb upstairs to Kiki's attic bedroom, lovingly recreated in detail, even down to her clothes and decor.

Step Inside the Magic at Howl's Moving Castle

This is a showstopper. You can wander through all of Howl's rooms — his messy bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and even turn the door knob to change the scenery outside. It's jaw-droppingly accurate.

Ghibli Grand Warehouse — See Exhibits and Photo Spots

This huge indoor area features:

  • A mini theater playing rare Ghibli shorts

  • A food animation exhibit showing famous meals from the films

  • A life-size Cat Bus for fun photo ops

Dondoko Forest — Visit Satsuki & Mei's House

Step into the Totoro universe by exploring a full-scale replica of the girls' house. You'll remove your shoes and explore their rooms---right down to their father's messy desk and the family kitchen.

Hill of Youth — Peek into the Cat Bureau

From The Cat Returns, this cat-sized setup features tiny furniture, a working grandfather clock, and a view of Baron and Muta lounging inside. It's a charming, hidden gem.
