The best parts of a Yufuin trip are the hands-on experience with adorable owls and a stroll along Lake Kinrin in the misty rain. Don't miss the onsen magic show and delicious onsen eggs at Kamado Jigoku (Oven Hell), where you can also try soy sauce pudding. The Umegae Mochi (plum rice cake) at Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine is also worth a taste.

The one-day tour was very convenient, and I was able to visit all the attractions I wanted to see. I was very lucky to see Mount Aso's crater 🌋. Our tour guide, Kevin, was a great guy and very funny.

I visited Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, Yufuin, Kamado Jigoku (Oven Hell), and Umi Jigoku (Sea Hell) hot springs. Yufuin was my favorite – I had a great time exploring! Our tour guide, May, was very responsible and told us many stories about local attractions. Although we couldn't ride the cable car in the end due to the weather, overall the trip was very enjoyable and fulfilling!

We chose a package tour because we were traveling with the whole family, young and old. It was so convenient! Our tour guide, Wendy, was enthusiastic and friendly. When a family member wasn't feeling well, she even offered medicine and helped with applying it and giving a massage. She interacted with the kids on the bus and even helped hold them! Our driver, Shin-chan, was also very funny. He helped us get the stroller out, and even stopped traffic when we were crossing the street! Seeing the zoo from the comfort of the car on a hot day was a fantastic choice! Highly recommended!
