Things to do in d2 Place

There were super funnn and interactive games to play with at Area A. Me and my boyfriend really enjoyed it there, as we came on a weekday, there was not much people, so we got all the games to ourselves. Definitely gonna try the Crazy Cart next !!!

We booked the 7:00 PM slot, and I thought it would be quite crowded on a Friday night, but besides us, there was only one other group of customers. It was almost like having the whole place to ourselves. Very good experience. Plus, you can borrow protective gear like wrist guards and knee pads, which is very thoughtful.

The most fun experience for all ages. I just wish I had this around in Hong Kong when I was kid/teenager.

Compared to the Discovery Bay store, this one is smaller and targets a different age group. It's now aimed at younger children, aged 3-6, with most of the space dedicated to ball pits and simple rope nets. Older children might find it lacks a challenge.

The environment is clean and tidy, and the variety of offerings is quite diverse. It's not crowded in the morning, making for a more relaxed experience 😎. The staff's attitude isn't bad; they respond promptly to questions, and another staff member was very friendly and proactively offered assistance 🥰.

If you don’t want to line up for tickets going to The Peak, this is definitely the best option for you. The staff assisted me right away where to enter and scan my QR code to enter and wait for the Tram going up and the same goes when you leave. I had a great time exploring The Peak and would definitely go back with my family or friends there!

My daughter and I experienced VR 'Qin Mausoleum' for the first time, and it was truly an amazing surprise! From the moment we stepped into the virtual world, we were completely immersed. Especially the moment we fell downwards, my heart raced as if I were actually falling, the immersion was incredible! Afterwards, we joined the doctor on an adventure to escape the Qin tomb, solving puzzles and exploring the ancient tomb along the way. Every scene was designed to be incredibly realistic. The most breathtaking moment was definitely looking up at the sky and seeing the twelve zodiac beasts; the visual was spectacular and truly memorable. In one scene, we could even pick up different artifacts for a close-up view and personally try out ancient musical instruments. The interactivity was very high, making it not only fun but also educational about Qin Dynasty culture. The best part was that at the end of the activity, we were lucky enough to receive a complimentary VR gun battle experience! My daughter was completely engrossed, running around and sweating, laughing non-stop. We both had an incredibly fun time! This experience combined technology, history, and entertainment, making it suitable for both adults and children. We will definitely come back again!

I thoroughly enjoyed both the permanent collection and the special exhibitions. The ability to see contemporary Asian art is a major advantage. Currently, a solo exhibition by artist Lee Bul is underway. You can also see works by Korean artists such as Kimsooja and Nam June Paik. The views of the West Kowloon Cultural District and Victoria Harbour through the large glass windows are a highlight in themselves. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, which showed great attention to detail. There are food trucks nearby, so it would be a good idea to grab lunch or dinner after seeing the exhibition. (I also visited the adjacent Hong Kong Palace Museum and saw the Egyptian exhibition.)
