Highly recommend this hotel. Very spacious and lovely rooms. Small boutique hotel with no noise. Very central.

The facility is beautiful but what really made the experience that much better was how helpful and kind the staff was. Rooms were clean and looked very nice. Location wise this is such a great spot to be for doing things in Kyoto I’d definitely come back again.

I especially appreciated being able to explore so much on foot — from atmospheric alleyways to the stunning temples and shops nearby — making every evening stroll feel like part of the adventure. I’d highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Kyoto who wants a great base for sightseeing and experiencing the timeless beauty of Gion!

We arrived later than we expected that kaiseki dinner reservation already closed, too bad. Breakfast was customize to our allergen and preferences, thank you. Room was big and warm amids heavy snow storm and sleet outside. Pagoda was seen from our room. Staff was helpful, considerate, and understanding.

located close to everything! clean & spacious. washing machine & dryer available for a fee. private sauna/hot tub for a fee. easy check in and check out.

extended our stay for an extra night last minute, it would have been nice to stay in our room so we didn’t have to pack up and do check in and check out again. but it’s fine.

The location was great, close to the station and convenience stores, and the room was very clean. I was a little confused at check-in because there were no staff at the front desk, but I managed to get through it with the 24-hour online support.
