Things to do in Ha Long Bay

10/10 experience. My guide Duc was awesome. Everything was on schedule and he explained what we were doing in detail. There were several options for every stop. I was able to hang out with other solo travelers on the trip and it was a great day!

The pickup was well arranged , the bus was comfortable a water bottle was provided. They gave a 20 minutes break in the meanwhile, where we could use the restroom and shop a little bit. upon reaching the harbour we met Henry tour, guide, and Tony. They were fantastic. Upon boarding the cruise, we had delicious Indian food, dietary preference was Indian (vegetarian) and they served amazing & delicious food. After lunch we were taken to three spots. Afternoon snacks and refreshments were also good. You can consider booking this package.

The cruise was very nice, and our tour guide, Alex, was very caring, friendly, and humorous. He helped us take great photos and made the experience even more enjoyable. The seafood lunch buffet was delicious, with a great variety of food. Overall, we had a wonderful time!

value for money: service: safety: attractions on route. Hope to have more time at cave as route full peoples and hike on way out. My mom and her friends on their 70th need to catch their breath. overall service ok. explanation of attractions clear and repeated for everyone information.

great experience with one minor hiccup. let me start with whats great, i love the bus driver he was kind and also attentive to the tourists cause my sister mistakenly boarded the wrong bus but he saw her and called out to her. another is that he is such a great driver that i can fall asleep and trust that we are safe. for the guide, martin is kind and helped my sister wash her wound as she fell off the bike. MY CONCERN is that theres not enough medical supply in case of emergency and why are the bikes provided with breaks that do not work? but i must say, all in all it was a very great experience and its really good for the value of your money.

A day trip to Ha Long Bay truly lives up to its reputation as "Guilin on the Sea"! 🌊 We departed from Hanoi in the morning, and the drive was about 2.5 hours. Although it was a bit far, seeing the emerald green water and thousands of limestone islands made it all worthwhile. Cruising among the islands felt like stepping into a traditional Chinese ink painting. For lunch, we enjoyed a seafood meal on the boat; the food was decent, but dining with the sea breeze was incredibly pleasant. The biggest highlights were kayaking and exploring the caves, where the water was so clear you could see the bottom. We climbed over 400 steps on Ti Top Island, and the panoramic view of Ha Long Bay from the summit was truly breathtaking. The day trip was indeed a bit rushed, so if possible, I'd recommend staying overnight. However, for a short experience, it offers great value for money, and I highly recommend it! Our guide, Johnny, was enthusiastic, thoughtful, and meticulous in his service – highly commendable.

Our guide, Vincent (looks like a monkey - his words, not mine), was truly a fantastic guide. He showed us around and you cannot get lost as he had his big capybara stick to show where he is. Vincent had a really good grasp of the history and threw in some good jokes. The tour itself was great and I believe it was mainly aided by Vincent and his warm welcome and approach to each and every person on the tour. Tour was fantastic, was able to do everything we wanted at Ha Long Bay, the food was surprisingly good for a buffet and a great drinks selection on offer.

Our journey commenced with a convenient pick-up from our hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. Following an hour of travel, we took a brief restroom break before arriving at the Bay area. The reception was outstanding, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere, complete with a complimentary drink. We opted for the Indian set menu, which was thoroughly enjoyable. Our itinerary included visits to Surprise Cave, Luon Cave, and Ti Top Island, all expertly managed. Long, the cruise manager, provided excellent care throughout the trip, and Jack, our tour guide, demonstrated remarkable enthusiasm and assistance during the various outdoor activities. Upon our return, we were greeted with snacks, beverages, and a DJ pool party, culminating in a truly memorable day in Halong. We highly recommend the Dolphin cruise for an unparalleled Halong Bay experience.

Due to the storm, our tour was rescheduled for a few days later. The tour itself was wonderful. The children were absolutely delighted and wanted to go again. We also really liked our guide, Tinh. Special thanks to him for taking beautiful photos of our entire family.
