Got ourselves a 7-day Global Pass and travelled through 5 countries. Buying the pass was easy but how to use the app for activating the pass will need some time to learn. However, fear not as there are many experienced people out willing to share. Do some readings and join some fb travel groups and you will surprised by the information available. The pass was flexible but the train schedule can be unpredictable which means you need to be updated requently to stay on course of your journey. We only experienced one hicccup on one of the trips at Berlin due to seat reservation issue and missing the connecting train due to delay of the first train. The other trips were as planned.

I’m glad I took this Aerobus from Barcelona airport into the city centre. No hassle at all, you just need to show your QR code and in to the bus you go. the seats were comfy and the staff really helpful. However, you need to know at what stop to get off as they have specific spots that they can only load and unload passengers. And nope, they won’t drop you off at your hotel 😊. Higly recommend!!

I joined the 4 p.m. tour, and it was definitely worth it! The light at that time made all the colors inside the church come alive — it was absolutely breathtaking. Thank you, God, for the perfect weather! I visited the Sagrada Família, and I can truly say that Gaudí’s work has the power to deepen your faith. This experience touched me spiritually, especially thanks to Alberto, who was incredibly informative and passionate during the tour. The tour group I joined had many seniors, and we patiently waited(no choice!) while some of them took a quick break to toilet before we started. I truly hope and pray that the Sagrada Família will one day be completed, because even in its unfinished state, it has already moved so many people. Once it is finished, I believe it will be even more spiritually powerful and deeply inspiring.

We had an absolutely fantastic time on the Montserrat Monastery Classic Tour. The tour was perfectly paced, giving us the chance to soak up the breathtaking scenery, explore the monastery, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Montserrat at our own pace. What truly made this tour stand out was our guide, Eduardo. From start to finish, his knowledge and humor made every moment engaging and fun. He wove fascinating stories about the history and significance of Montserrat into the tour while keeping the group laughing and smiling along the way. Eduardo’s ability to balance information with entertainment was exceptional. We learned so much without ever feeling overwhelmed, and the group atmosphere was joyous thanks to him. His insights brought the place to life, and his warm personality made everyone feel welcome and included. Overall, the tour was fun, enriching, and seamless, from the beautiful views and well-organized itinerary to the expert guidance we received throughout.

What to know before visiting Barcelona

Top Attractions in Barcelona

Sagrada Familia

You can’t miss the Sagrada Família, Barcelona’s most famous landmark designed by Antoni Gaudí. Its tall towers and detailed carvings make it one of the most unique churches in the world.

Park Güell

At Park Güell, you’ll walk through colorful mosaics, winding paths, and artistic sculptures. This hilltop park offers some of the best views of Barcelona and the Mediterranean Sea.

La Rambla

Take a walk along La Rambla, Barcelona’s most popular street, filled with shops, cafes, street art, and lively performers. It’s a great place to feel the city’s vibrant atmosphere.

Tips before visiting Barcelona

1. Book Barcelona Attractions Early

Top spots like the Sagrada Família, Park Güell, and Casa Batlló often sell out, especially in summer. Book your Barcelona tickets in advance to avoid long lines and secure your preferred time slot.

2. Use the Barcelona Metro or Walk

The Barcelona Metro is one of the fastest ways to move around the city, with stations close to major attractions like La Rambla and Barceloneta Beach. You can also walk through areas like the Gothic Quarter or Eixample to soak in the architecture and lively streets.

3. Be Careful in Crowded Areas

Barcelona is one of Europe’s most visited cities, so places like Las Ramblas, the metro, and popular beaches can get crowded. Keep an eye on your belongings, especially in busy streets and tourist zones.

4. Try Traditional Catalan Food

Don’t miss Barcelona’s traditional Catalan dishes like tapas, paella, and crema catalana. Try dining at local restaurants or cafes in Gràcia or El Born for an authentic experience.

5. Get a Spain eSIM Before You Arrive

Stay connected during your trip with a Spain eSIM, available on Klook or at Barcelona Airport. It’s the easiest way to use maps, find tours, and contact locals while exploring Barcelona.
