From Barcelona: Montserrat with Winery Visit, Wine Tasting & Lunch

A lovely tour! Montserrat is a serene and picturesque place that is worth the visit. We did the tapas and wine tasting after and the winery was quaint and charming. And the cherry on top to this great tour was definitely the tour guides. All of them were very engaging, informative and accommodating.

The itinerary was perfectly timed and the tour guide's explanations were incredibly detailed. We got to try three different red and white wines; however, the lunch was a bit disappointing

Great tour with super fun guides. Montserrat provided us with many breathtaking views with fascinating history and stories behind it. Farmers market was a bonus and ensured we came home with various fresh cheese and honey! Lunch was pumpkin soup with croutons, grilled chicken and dessert with plenty of wine. Shoutout to montse (our guide) who took superb care of us and gave us plenty of information to enjoy our tour.

we really enjoyed the tour and tastings! it was very easy to locate the pickup location. then we got a history lesson on our way to the monetary. once there we got a tour. after the tour we had an hour to ourselves to explore. my wife and I did the short walk to San Gabriel’s cross. it will 20 minutes up. and 15 minutes down. the view was incredible. I highly recommend the winery tour and the tastings. the food was very good. the castle/ winery was full of incredible history. at the tasting you try 3 different wines. we were back in Barcelona around 7pm.

great option for a day trip to montserrat monastery, learn about this vital historical place for Catalonian people and enjoy local wine tasting. Our guide Thais was great, taking us through the journey into the monastery and mountain history and the wine tasting. The trout was never dull, at the bus a male tour guide gave us a nice overview of Barcelona history and keept us entertained with jokes and overall great ambaience while learning really interesting things about the city of Barcelona history and transitioning to montserrat mountains.

itinerary: The day trip tour was great, get to know more about Catalan culture in the Montserrat part, plus the unexpected short hike. Unforgettable. The Oller del Mas Winery part seems to be shorter comparatively. Brief but not shallow, get to know the history and the story of the family that produced the wine, plus taste some of their signature wines. guide: Hector our guide truly worth mentioning in the tour. He is friendly and fun, loves to share his stories & experiences. He truly lights up the whole tour between other group mates and me. Shout out to Hector!

We love our day trip to Montserrat and our guides were excellent throughout the entire trip! the whole day was packed with activities: 25min hiking to the cross in Montserrat, excellent lunch, wine tasting etc.

Ivan our tour guide was great funny and informative I learn a lot because it was my first wine tasting expterience. The monastery was great too the only thing I would suggest is I little more free time at the monastery.
