Buckingham Palace

Buckingham Palace, the official London residence of the British monarch, serves as both a royal residence and the administrative headquarters of the monarchy. Originally known as Buckingham House, it was constructed in 1703 and became the royal residence in 1837 with Queen Victoria's accession. King George III acquired it in 1761 as a private residence for Queen Charlotte. The palace features 775 rooms, including 19 State Rooms, 52 royal and guest bedrooms, 92 offices, and the largest private garden in London, spanning 42 acres. Its facade was redesigned by Sir Aston Webb in 1913. During World War II, despite being bombed, the royal family remained in the palace, which reinforced its symbolic significance. Buckingham Palace houses a vast collection of art, including works by Rembrandt, Vermeer, and Canaletto, which reflect the royal family’s rich cultural heritage. Visitors can explore the grandeur of the State Rooms, where state banquets and official events take place. The palace is also the setting for the Changing of the Guard, a key tradition that attracts visitors from around the world. Each summer (July–October), Buckingham Palace opens to the public, offering a rare opportunity to tour its opulent rooms, including the Throne Room and Picture Gallery. The palace has witnessed key moments in British history, involving the British monarchy, kings, queens, and princes, and continues to serve as a working royal residence today under King Charles. With its rich history, stunning architecture, and connection to the royal family, Buckingham Palace is a must-visit for those eager to experience the heart of British tradition, culture, and royal life.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Helpful staff at London Eye (but Klook support couldn’t assist). I booked a Fast Track London Eye ticket for 17 November at 15:30, but my flight was delayed so I missed the time slot. I contacted Klook customer service, but unfortunately they couldn’t help or make any changes. The next day (18 November around 2 PM) I decided to go to the London Eye directly just to try my luck. Surprisingly, the staff there were very kind and understanding. They told me to go to the ticketing office right beside the entrance, and they helped me sort everything out on the spot. Sharing this so others know: 👉 If you miss your slot, Klook support may not be able to help — but the London Eye ticketing office might. It’s worth trying in person! The ride was beautiful and I’m glad it worked out in the end. 🎡💙🇬🇧

The meeting point can be a bit confusing since we were directed to bus Stop 1 which was the Harry Potter tour. Fortunately it was easy to ask the attendant which bus was for our trip. David our guide was great. very knowledgeable about not only our destination but many interesting facts of the important landmarks on the way. I would definitely go with company again.

With the London Pass, we were able to enjoy the Arsenal Stadium Tour, St. Paul's Cathedral, and the Uber Boat. One minor disappointment was that the Royal Albert Hall, which was advertised as having evening tours available, was unavailable for tours due to a performance. It would have been better if there had been a prior notification about this. Also, the process of making a reservation on Klook and then having to download the Go City app and figure out what to enter was a bit confusing and inconvenient; it would be helpful to have clearer instructions on this. Nevertheless, the value for money was great, and it was a tour that allowed us to have a truly wonderful day.

audio tour was very in depth and had a selection for highlights to cover every inch of the cathedral. however the steps up to the gallery was a bit too much but worth the climb to admire the dome paintings up close. as a tourist, it was an interesting experience being able to capture most sights.

Fantastic 5.0
The experience of visiting the building and climbing to the top floor was wonderful. However, keep in mind that if there's a wedding, the areas you can visit will be limited. Even if you have a designated time like 10:00 AM, it's not really a fixed time. It's essential to print your voucher, as you'll face significant difficulties if you don't. If the weather is good and not too windy, definitely try to go to the top floor. You'll get a 360° panoramic view of London, the best view you can find anywhere. However, if you're a larger person, you might want to reconsider, as the stairs and passageways are extremely narrow, making it impossible to pass by others easily. I barely made it up myself, it was very tight.

Fantastic 5.0
We chose the Bath, Stonehenge & Windsor Castle day tour, plus entrance tickets to Windsor Castle and St. Paul's Cathedral. It was a great bundle deal as the day tour itself costs more than GBP100. Please bear in mind that the day tour excludes entrance tickets to Windsor Castle and the Roman Baths, plus a tip for the tour guide and bus driver at the end. You can choose to redeem the tickets to the castle via this package, or purchase tickets on its official website at least a day in advance to save a couple of pounds. The day tour requires booking in advance; simply arrive at Victoria Coach Station at the scheduled time under Premium Tours. Cold food is allowed on the bus. Basically, we're allowed 1.5 hours at Windsor, about 2 hours at Bath, and an hour at Stonehenge. St. Paul's Cathedral is a magnificent architectural landmark within the city. Allocate at least an hour to soak in the grandeur of the church.

It was easy to find the meet-up point and they drop you back closer to the pick up point although there was another drop off location in Kensington. Our guide and driver were pretty good but just can’t remember their names. It was definitely worth it!
