Things to do in Hoi An

The tour was calm and relaxing, perfect for slowing down and enjoying the day. The Vietnamese cooking class was a wonderful hands-on experience and turned a rainy day into something fun, cozy, and memorable.

The day before, they contacted me about the meeting point, and on the day, they arrived at the hotel exactly on time. The coconut boat was a very fun experience. The two people who participated with me were very nice people from Hong Kong, and we exchanged photos and had a great time. They also let us sit at the same table for the meal, which made it a very enjoyable dining experience. The afternoon was free time, but it was very hot and I was tired, so I contacted them via WhatsApp and they readily agreed to pick me up early, which was very helpful. They also helped me confirm my next tour, and I am very grateful. I would definitely like to participate again and enjoy Hoi An at a slower pace.

A must-try experience — 5 stars all the way. The coconut basket boat ride was fun, unique, and very entertaining. The boat rowers were skilled and engaging, even showing cool spinning tricks and taking photos for us. The scenery through the coconut forest was beautiful and relaxing. Well organized and worth the time and price. Highly recommended when visiting the area. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Amazing experience — definitely a 5-star activity in Hoi An. The boat ride was peaceful and well-organized, and releasing the lantern on the river felt truly magical. In every country I visit, I love to see live stage shows: Traversing four hundred years, just to encounter this performance of "Hoi An Memories." 🏮✨ 500 actors dance gracefully on a 25,000 square meter outdoor stage, from the ancient Champa Kingdom to a parade of hundreds in Ao Dai; every scene is a visual feast. Sitting in the VIP seats overlooking the entire scene, amidst the dazzling lights, it feels like I've truly returned to the bustling Maritime Silk Road. The night in Hoi An is more captivating than I imagined. 🇻🇳 (Professional cameras are prohibited throughout the event, but mobile phone photography is allowed.) The Hoi An Memories show is hands-down the most breathtaking performance I’ve ever seen. 500 actors, a massive 25,000sqm water stage, and 400 years of history unfolding under the stars. Watching the 100-strong Ao Dai parade from the VIP seats was a total "pinch-me" moment. Hoi An, you have my heart! 🇻🇳🏮 （Pro-cameras are prohibited throughout the event, but mobile phone is allowed.）

Visited the ancient historical temples and buildingsnin Vietnam. The guide did an amazing job in explaining the history of every historical building in Hue City. A really lovely and funny tour guide. The food is really unique and flavorful. Had a great time along the trip. Highly recommended.

The ride from Hoi An to My Son was comfortable. We reached the river side just right in time for sunset, and had Banh mi while getting on the boat ride. Overall, well worth the price!

A truly perfect day trip! Tour guide Vien contacted me via VX the morning before, and sent the license plate number the next morning, picking me up right on time. The vehicle was spacious and comfortable, and surprisingly, the group lunch was also delicious! We visited the Tomb of Khai Dinh, Thien Mu Pagoda, and the Hue Imperial City in order. I personally didn't find it particularly tiring, and listening to the explanations made it easier to remember things. It seemed like I was the only one in the group who spoke Mandarin, and I was worried that I wouldn't understand anything since my English isn't very good, but in reality, I was able to understand most of it. Vien explained the thirteen emperors of the Nguyen Dynasty in Vietnam, the architectural regulations of the Imperial City, and some Vietnamese history. I learned a lot, and I am very grateful to the guide and driver for a perfect day trip in Hue~

They arrived at the hotel on the morning of the reservation without any prior notice the day before. It seemed like they were trying to contact us beforehand via WhatsApp. Once in the vehicle, they shared their contact information using their KakaoTalk ID. The vehicle was comfortable. The guide, Thu, was friendly and used easy-to-understand English, and she kindly explained not only the My Son Sanctuary but also various aspects of Vietnamese culture. This tour starts a bit earlier than other tours, which is advantageous because you can explore the ruins before they get crowded with tourists. However, the lack of free time at the ruins was a bit disappointing. There was a guide app available at the site, but it required a paid subscription. The rice paper-making experience was simple and straightforward. Lunch offered a variety of dishes, but the portions felt a bit small. The boat trip on the way back was a unique and enjoyable experience. Overall, I am satisfied.
