The itinerary was clear, the timing was well managed, and everything felt stress-free—even while traveling as a family. Our tour guide Ellie was wonderful. She consistently checked on us, made sure we were okay, and guided the group with care and professionalism. We never felt rushed, and she made sure everyone was comfortable at every stop. Because of Ellie’s attentiveness and organization, we were able to fully enjoy Kyoto and Nara without worrying about logistics. It was a relaxing and memorable experience for our whole family. This tour efficiently allowed me to experience Japan's most representative attractions in one day, with an itinerary that included Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Fushimi Inari Shrine, Nara Park, and Todai-ji Temple. At Kiyomizu-dera Temple, the view overlooking Kyoto and the magnificence of the wooden architecture were impressive. At Fushimi Inari Shrine, walking along the endless path of torii gates allowed me to feel Japan's unique and mystical atmosphere. In Nara Park, the scenery of naturally blending with the deer was memorable, and the Great Buddha of Todai-ji Temple was overwhelming in scale and presence when I actually saw it. The tour guide, Songran Lee, provided very natural Korean explanations that were easy to understand, and she highlighted the key points of each location, allowing me to learn a lot in a short amount of time. In particular, the restaurant information she recommended during transit was practical and detailed, which was a great help during the trip. Overall schedule management, guidance, customer service, and other basic qualities as a guide were well-equipped, allowing me to enjoy the tour comfortably and with confidence! Overall, it was a stable and satisfactory tour, and I would especially recommend it to those visiting Kyoto and Nara for the first time!

I recommend this trip for those with limited time during their Osaka visit. It’s a wonderful way to see three popular tourist spots in just one day. We started from Dotonburi at 8am and returned around 6:30pm. You’ll get about 2 hours to explore the Arashiyama area, 1 hour in Nara, and over an hour at Fushimi Inari Shrine. Just a heads-up: be punctual so you don’t miss the tour, which leaves without you if you're late. Be sure to plan your day wisely. We managed to squeeze in a quick lunch in Arashiyama since there wouldn’t be time to eat at the other spots.

I had a really memorable day thanks to our guide. We visited Nara, Uji, and Fushimi Inari, and the whole trip was smooth and comfortable from start to finish. She has a very cool and confident vibe — short hair, a relaxed style, and a calm, clear way of speaking. She can switch between Japanese, Mandarin, and English effortlessly, which made everything so easy and natural. Her explanations were simple and vivid, not boring at all, and she shared small details that made each place feel alive. I also really appreciated her respectful and open personality. She didn’t try to perform or push anything — she just let the experience breathe, which made the day feel genuine and relaxed. If you’re looking for someone who’s professional, chill, and really knows how to guide without being overbearing, I’d definitely recommend her. Great energy, great pace, great company.

I really enjoyed this day tour. It’s such a stress free activity since you have a guide who will bring you to beautiful places and sceneries. Our guide was Harry and he did an awesome job. We got to see so many places that me and my family ould not have gone too. ai would recommend doing this tour and requesting Harry as your guide.

This one-day tour of Mount Rokko and Nara with OrengeBus was great! The itinerary was meticulously planned and packed with activities, ensuring that my family and I had a lot of fun. I booked the package with transportation but without Mount Rokko tickets. Before meeting the tour leader, I was worried that not buying Mount Rokko tickets online beforehand would be a problem. However, it turned out to be a good thing I didn't buy them online, because the tour leader helped us purchase group tickets with the team. As a result, each person received a free snow sled. We also had free time to go to a restaurant for a bite to eat, take some photos around the area, and then decide when to play with the snow sleds. The tour leader gave each of us a snow sled voucher, so the whole family didn't have to be tied together and exchange the vouchers at the same time. It's very inconvenient to take photos while holding a snow sled. The other members of our group who purchased tickets online using QR codes had to do everything together as a family of eight, and they said they felt very restricted. I was so lucky that I asked the tour leader to help us purchase tickets, so we could enjoy more benefits. Thumbs up to the tour leader! Nara Park in the afternoon was also great. There were many tourists, and some places were sold out of deer crackers. The tour leader helped us find places where we could buy deer crackers and also introduced us to delicious local snacks. This trip was amazing. Fionna, our guide for this trip, was a phenomenol guide to the expedition. She is expressive with her words, face, and arms; moreover, she gets along with the vibes of the group. She is informative as she gives the background and history of each important landmark in our trip, laid out some important rules and precaution on what to do and not to do during the trip for each important milestone we reached on a trip, and looks out for the wellbeing of us tourist. Additionally, she gives quizzes after the trip which really makes us appreciate the insights we gained from the trip more - she even gave us chocolate candies for answering it correctly! Overall, I say the value was worth it as it as my family of five really had a positive experience of her.

It was our first trip to Japan with the kids, so we went with a mix of excitement and worry, but thanks to the bus tour, it was a very satisfying day. In particular, the guide's calm and informative explanations were great. If we had traveled from Osaka to Kyoto and Nara by subway, it would have taken a lot of travel time and we would have struggled to find our way, but being conveniently transported by bus allowed us to sleep during the travel time and recharge our energy. The kids were most satisfied with Nara Park. They were happy to see and touch the deer up close and to buy and feed them crackers. Fushimi Inari Shrine had beautiful colors, so the photos turned out really well. There were many bus tour groups at each destination, so it was crowded, but I felt that it was a good decision to take the bus tour and we had a satisfying day. Highly recommend it!^^
