Things to do in Barcelona

If you had to choose to go to one of Gaudi’s work in Barcelona, then definitely you shoulf go here! it was really one of a kind and breathtaking. Pictures that I took can’t even get half of its beauty. we were so lucky to be able to get slots because we weren’t suppose to visit inside but it would be such waste if we weren’t able to do so. so book your tickets in advance and make sure to do this when you are in Barcelona.

I love Gaudí's multicolored mosaic salamander, popularly known as El Drac (the dragon). UNESCO designated the park a World Heritage Site, recognizing it as part of the "Works of Antoni Gaudí" collection in 1984.

My family and I had a wonderful time at Casa Batllo! We bought the Gold tickets and we had an immersive AR experience with a tablet provided. Price was a little more expensive than the normal tickets but it is was a lovely experience learning more about Gaudi (the GOAT). Cons: sometimes the tablet did not seem to sync with the space, but that was minor.

Staff are helpful and visible. The place is air conditioned so I appreciate that because Barcelona was summery hot at that time. The audio , was also 👌 because wherever you are, it adjusts. skipped the queue and walk straight to entrance with the QR code. We have 2 adults and 2 kids, we bought only 2 adult tickets from klook (they don’t offer kids tickets), and I was skeptical about how the kids can enter at first. I asked klook customer service and they confirmed my kids (9 years old) can enter for free without booking a kids ticket. At the entrance, the staff said kids also need to get a ticket although it’s free but they just let us in.

A very interesting museum! It's great to see how the artist started with ordinary drawings and became famous. There are many paintings from his youth. I was especially impressed by the series where he redrew the famous painting "Las Meninas" in his own way. It was very informative and inspiring!

I joined the 4 p.m. tour, and it was definitely worth it! The light at that time made all the colors inside the church come alive — it was absolutely breathtaking. Thank you, God, for the perfect weather! I visited the Sagrada Família, and I can truly say that Gaudí’s work has the power to deepen your faith. This experience touched me spiritually, especially thanks to Alberto, who was incredibly informative and passionate during the tour. The tour group I joined had many seniors, and we patiently waited(no choice!) while some of them took a quick break to toilet before we started. I truly hope and pray that the Sagrada Família will one day be completed, because even in its unfinished state, it has already moved so many people. Once it is finished, I believe it will be even more spiritually powerful and deeply inspiring.

Gaudí's first private project, and it's absolutely stunning. The self-guided audio tour, which you can play on your own phone, offers a variety of language options. If you have plenty of time, I recommend supplementing the audio tour with a guided tour (4€) purchased at the museum ticket counter. It's well worth it – they provide in-depth explanations of the building's details, giving you insight into the history, Gaudí's vision, and the owner's ingenuity. Plus, they help clear away those pesky tourists while they're talking (laughs). • Your ticket includes a 5€ discount coupon, so it seems like you don't need to choose the other 10% off option. / The ice cream at the café is refreshing on a hot day, though not particularly delicious, but sitting at the outdoor tables and admiring the building is a great experience. / If you love Gaudí's work and architectural details, be sure to set aside a whole half-day for Casa Vicens.
